Isn't it without the talking parts?? The performances were ok, but for me the talking bits were the best bits!! Its only the songs that are on the dvd.

 

It doesn't matter what videos are copied on DVD since it's fake so I don't care.

Yesterday at work (in a shop) I played Celine Dion and The Colour Of My Love.... to my surprise and satisfaction I saw some people singing along, not only with TPOL but also with non singles! :wub2:

 

I played "That's The Way It Is" when I bought "All The Way" in 1999, and to my surprise my Mum fell in love with the song and used to ask me to play it for her all the time. She also fell in love with Celine's red satin dress during her performance of "Because You Loved Me" and "Twist And Shout" on the "Live In Memphis" video. Sorry for ranting :)

Celine dion does not become the biggest selling female artist in the world without people buying her CDs! I think the world has many many closet celine fans :)

Hey all. So I just read on Wikipedia that there are two versions of the "On ne change pas" video.

 

"Dion's only appearances in the video are in the form of photographs taken of her with her grade-school class at age eight. A second version of the video exists, containing similar footage, but focusing more on the young girl. This version also features several scenes of Dion in the studio recording the song, as well as moments from her career".

 

Now, I'm very well familiar with the first of the two, but I was just wondering: has anyone seen the second version? Also, where can we watch it? I've tried looking for it on YouTube, but to no avail :(

She was saying how practical it is, how when she's going to be out playing golf and its late and everyone will want supper, she is going to save everyone by saying that supper actually is ready thanks to her crockpot ! So freaking funny !!!!

That is SO cute!! And I love crockpot food! I'm surprised Julie Snyder's never heard of a crockpot - maybe they're less common in Quebec?

 

Was Celine saying something about RC being her manager when he grows up? I couldn't understand what she was saying, but it definitely made everyone laugh!

does anyone have any idea of when the winter 2013/2014 show dates will be released? wanting to book flights etc for february 2014 but can't because we don't know the dates. i know its well in advance but its my first time ever seeing Celine after 12years of waiting so this is a huuuugggeeee deal for me.

Yes we do have them. I wouldn't say that they are uncommun (since I saw this video, I'm trying to convince my mother to buy one !) ! I have to say that I'm quite surprised that Julie doesn't know what a Crockpot is !

Good luck - crockpot food is delicious -- it comes out super-soft, like comfort food, and so flavorful!

 

Just curious - could you tell us what Celine was saying in the 2nd part of the video that made everyone laugh? Was she talking about RC being her manager when he grows up?

There were [maybe still are?] videos, before and after videos, of Mariah's dubbing throughout the years. Diva's Live was included in it with the obvious difference in sound.

At the "listening party" of Immortality (you know, the video that was made with Celine and the Bee Gees around the piano etc? - that was the listening party) - with the Gibbs and Celine was also Tommy Mottola, Billy Joel, and Joe Pesci. I never knew that until today!

I read today that Mercedes-Benz is no longer making the Maybach. I wonder what type of car she will switch to?

 

Isn't she usually always going by a Chrysler?

I was just winding if anyone know how had time to record so many music videos from all the way? Were they record before she left in 2000. Or after when she had time?

It's a slow cooker. You can put a meal in to cook, leave it on for HOURS (like Celine was saying, go out and play golf or do whatever), and come home to a nice, cooked meal. Everything comes out very soft and super-flavorful - it's like comfort food. I love crockpot food! More about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_cooker

They don't have them there in South Africa? They make dinner easier because you put the food in, usually raost, set it and you can leave for work or such and then by the time you get home dinner is done! Handy little invention :) I guess they weren't common in Quebec either!

Now that you explained what "crockpot" is, yes we do have that here in South Africa, but we just call it a slow cooker. Yes, they are super. Nice to be able to go out for a few hours and your food is beautifully cooked and ready to eat when you get back home. Very very handy to have. Love the way she says that word "crockpot". It is sooo cute and funny. I could'nt stop laughing. :sofunny: She is so adoreable. :wub:

Yes, Julie really looked surprised at the way Celine was explaining about the crockpot. You would think that it is something that has only come out recently, the way they were carrying on. :giggle: I don't understand French, but just the way they were talking was so funny. They always seem to have a nice time together whenever they do interviews. :)
