I have a question to ask for those that have seen celine DVD CTTEOTW many time,? The question I have WHATS THE one thing that stands out the most about the MOVIE,

In that movie probably her relationship with RC and how she immeadialtely switches back to being a mom after performing. They show her playing rockband or guitar hero with him after the Montreal concert still in the MHWGO dress

Yeah, I like that part also. Just down to earth! I also like the part when she is trying on the dresses with Annie and she puts the black one on. (the one that's on the cover of the dvd) just the expression on her face says it all! :wub:

CTTEOTW is the first movie myself and my partner watched together when we first started dating. I was lucky enough to find another Celine fanatic to put up with my Celine madness!

Today me and few of my friends went to a thrift store up in Erie, PA and while there I looked through their CDs, cassettes, and vinyl records for some of Celine's music. There was no organization and it was really difficult but by some stroke of luck I found this gem for 75 cents!

I was watching an interview, can't remember which, but she mentioned how during the year everyone is telling her what to do and how to do it but when she is on stage, actually on stage, no one can tell her what to do. I just think that says a lot!! :)

Just been listening to TPOL from David Foster and Friends 1994 concert. I'd forgotten she sang the full song "Lost is how i'm feeling" part. Wish she'd do that again. It was so good to hear for a change.

mine ofcourse was the fans reaction towards her when she was outside her hotel signing autographs and there faces, priceless. goes to show you how much power she has on us fans, they just get so excited and even cry, made me cry a few times to after watching it a few time over.. just to be in her presents, is priceless,

Haha, I have this too! I actually have all of Celine's albums from the 90s (both English and French) on cassette tape. . . because I didn't get a CD player until the early 2000s! :)

Ok, so, they just sang A Man's World on The Voice and although it is a cover by Celine, you just have to appreciate the power of Celine's voice and stage presence!!!! I am going to watch it on Youtube now.....again!

A few days ago, I was reading the comments on a blog about Justin Beiber’s ‘dissing’ of Anne Frank. I am sorry but I had no prior knowledge of who she was and had to hurriedly do a google search. A neat story indeed. I sided with the Beibs on this one. Maybe she would have been a Belieber. But back the comments. One blogger, obviously a Canadian, said he didn’t like the fact that Beiber was from Canada as Canada is done apologizing for Celine Dion. Double ouch!

Which brings me to the question, ‘Why do so many Canadians not like Celine Dion?’ She’s a true Canadian icon. The woman can sing. My humble opinion of course. Well and the guys at Caesars too. Arguably one of the greatest singers in Canadian history. With the few genuine celebrities we can call our own, we should be proud of Celine Dion.

To understand this phenomenon, you must understand that us Canadians suffer from a sort of inferiority complex, maybe as a result of living in close proximity to the United States. The self-proclaimed master of the universe. We hate our sports teams, preferring to support US teams. I am a fan of the Washington Capitals even though we have our own NHL team in the city. Even our Canadian born players choose to play in the US than stay in Canada. According to us, CFL sucks. NFL is the way to go. Our high school and even university basketball games are not worth televising because it can’t compete with NCAA. Our television shows? Well that’s another story. Why do you think we own illegal satellites? We have tried mimicking American reality shows like ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and ‘Canadian Idol’ to name a few, but the ratings were so low that they were cancelled. Who really wants to watch Canadian Idol with some Canadian judges when there were real celebs like Randy Jackson and washed-up Paula Abdul judging American Idol? A no-brainer for sure eh? I think our winning idols played a few gigs at malls then went back to whatever they were doing in relative obscurity. Apparently the Canadian Idol judges tried to copy the antics of their US counterparts. I am guessing they were never told to ‘be yourselves’.

So, we are an apologetic nation. We say sorry, whether we mean it not. We think the grass is greener on the other side of the 49th parallel. We know more about the US Presidents than we know of our own. Harper who? We think Justin Beiber is one of Canada’s biggest embarrassment. I am not a Belieber but I disagree with that sentiment. We hated the late icon Rita MacNeil. Such a sweet and honorable woman. We diss Celine Dion. Awesome pipes and great concerts. And there’s more but you don’t have that much time.

While we are apologizing to the States for invading them with our ‘watered-down talents’, they accept our apologies and give us Kardashians, Britney Spears, Honey Boo Boo and whatever they could dredge up from the society’s also-rans. So who should apologize?

It’s just my take, what do I know eh?

Just read an article on Billboard about 15 Awesome Billboard Music Awards performances, and I had hopes to find the 1999 "That's The Way It Is" performance. Loved her in that one, though it was lipped. She was super radiant and the choreography was excellent.

HELP NEEDED! i have posted this in a few other topics but i am finding it hard to get a response. I'm from the UK and i am planning to go to vegas in February/March 2014 to finally see Celine after 12 years of waiting! The problem is we need to book our flights and hotel now in order to get the cheapest price otherwise i cannot afford to go (i'm only on a waitress income so waiting is not an option) but i need to know the dates for the shows during this time in otherwise i could end up booking a holiday with no celine not performing whilst i am there. I have looked at past shows dates and noticed Celine performed quite a few dates in March 2011 and 2013 but not 2012. Is there any way i can find out show dates just so i know when to book a holiday? or will i have to wait till they are released? is it worth booking my hotel and flights now and just hoping there is a show at that time????

These spring dates aren't released until after the current run of shows, which is usually over in September so probably in October they will be released. If I were you I would wait till you know the dates for sure before booking a plane ticket and hotel and just a suggestion I would try and shoot for a March concert, because based on past years she tends to get sick in February! Hope this helps!
