Avec Toi: The Very Best Of The Early Years (0698458756626) is the new 2CD compilation with the songs from the 80s to be released in June 2013.

 

i pre-ordered this the other day! They could have got a nicer cover but it will be nice to have all these old songs! best thing with pre-orderd is you forget them and when they come its a great surprise!

It's me (kind of bored again) with another question. I was thinking about 'A Song For You'. When Celine sings the word 'song' for the last time in the ending (is it a melisma or something?) it sounds to me interesting and pretty hard to sing it this way. Am I right or wrong? How hard is it really?

So love the Bruno Mars single "When I Was Your Man".

 

Everytime I listen to it, it brings "I Got Nothin' Left" to mind. Has anyone else felt this way?

 

I wish Celine would have a hit with a simple, haunting piano ballad.

Whenever I hear the words "piano" and "Celine Dion" on the sane sentence I instantly think of 'I Love You, Goodbye' :)

Does anybody know the story about sorry for love? Im sure i read something once that said someone said to make it into a more dancey song for andhc and that the one heart version was the original one?

You know how Rene was married twice and had kids with each wife I wonder if either ex-wife gave Celine trouble? I know that is really random but just wondering?

I had read somewhere that Anne-Renee (Rene's 2nd wife) was involved with a video Celine did not long after her divorce from Rene, and it may have been meant to show there were no hard feelings there. Also, when Celine sings the song she wrote for Anne-Marie at Anne-Marie's wedding, they show Anne-Marie sitting next to her mother, who is smiling sweetly.

 

Re: Rene's first wife - the biographies say that Rene always got along with her; that he could see Patrick (their son) whenever he wanted, etc.

Yes I remember seeing that somewhere, I'll have to look it up. (the video of Celine singing to Anne-Marie)

 

I always thought that was a funny story about his proposal also. I'm thinking, you've proposed twice before haven't you? :laugh:

I think it's the other way around, I've read it somewhere on the forum.

she seems to have to much hair in the forehead when she stop doing business. Is there a method to permently remove that? Without damaging the vocal chords?

 

I find her very attractive anyway.

I've never noticed that! Maybe just because it wasn't styled.
