It's a shame it's been pushed back for February, cos I think it would make a lovely holiday movie. BUT if Céline can resume the tour in France in March, then it will be well scheduled.

This might be a smart move. Celine herself could potentially be more in the limelight later this year so that could be great for the success of this film.

Will get closer to November, then they will postpone it again, & again, because this dam virus gets worse in winter time. Why don't they just put it on netflix, amazon prime, hulu, sights like that. At least they would be getting some money that way. There not getting anything by pushing back the date every time it gets close. Give us all a little hope in this rather hard time. When movie theatres do open up again, put it on big screen. I'd gladly go & see it on big screen, when it was safe to do so. But watching it at home is better then not getting to see it at all for another year.

I think I remember the director saying that it's a must to see the movie in theaters because of the music being sound better with.... better speakers that can be found in theaters lol

 

Maybe they have used a high sound quality surround like maybe Dolby Atmos? - maybe they really put an effort also in the sound department

I thought this was cool. Julie interviews Sylvain (Rene). In the movie they show one of Julie's interviews with Celine. Rene watches and laughs while Celine talks to Julie.

I watched the movie scene you posted before it was taken down ... so far the movie had amazing reviews coming from France but from what I just saw , I don't think people from Quebec will be tender towards Valerie as it is obvious it is a French Woman trying to mimick and talk like a French Canadian with questionable results.

 

Regardless of that , I cant wait to see the movie as nothing happens in the real Celine World

No. It will be released in France in November.

I wish when they released it on november. They will also release it on Apple TV+/iTunes in 4K + Dolby Atmos. Most people have great speakers at home and a projector for sure and a TV that’s capable of watching in 4K.

 

Since The director said they are pushing this movie to be released in movie theaters because of the sound since this movie has many live performances. i wish i have saved that article about it.

 

So, they better released it with Dolby Atmos to deliver great sounds.
