Perez was called gay slurs/attacked in public once, and for anybody to call him an std is uncalled for. I like the way he always promotes Celine on his website, even when her performances are not A+, he's always there to give her props. Even when his fans hate on Celine and in the comments, he still promotes her again and again, her music, her fashion. Bravo Perez!

We have to remember that the majority of people who attend her shows are not die-hards like, well, some of us, (I question the fandom of many here but that's for another day.) So for the most part, I don't think people who attend her shows want too many French songs, though I wish she'd do more as well. Again, I loved her cover of Adele but do think that spot could have, should have, been given to one of her lesser known songs.

I think a big portion of those who attend her Vegas concerts are casual fans who know the big hits, bought some of her more major albums, and wouldn't know or want to hear too many songs they don't know (random album cuts and French songs). Of course, *I* would love to hear older album cuts and French songs, but I understand why they don't do it in Vegas. I think it's impressive that she's held to performing at least one French song in the majority of her shows for all these years, but they can't go too far down that road or they'd lose a big chunk of the audience.

Just remember there's alot of tourists from other countries in Vegas that catch her show too, but if the audience was strictly American they probably wouldn't do any french songs, as most Americans don't like french for some reason.

I don't know Perez personally, but I know that he is a person who has tried to change for the better in recent years. He might not be everyone's cup of tea, but as a person who was bullied all throughout elementary school and high school, I just want to say that calling anyone a walking STD is totally uncalled for.

 

All he is doing is showing his respect towards Celine as a true fan. We shouldn't be bashing him, when this is a Celine Dion forum and he has said nothing but nice things about Celine, praising her show and even giving her promotion many times in recent years on his website.

I actually sat next to him at a Kylie Minogue concert. Was he annoying? Yes, but he was actually really nice and I think when did his transition into the good Perez that adopted a son.

He was attacked by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas, only AFTER he made derogatory comments toward Fergie and the rest of the group. Will.I.Am approached Perez about these comments, and then called will.i.am a fag*ot to get a rise out of him...that's when their manager attacked Perez...with good reason. Perez then later admitted that he wanted to call him the "N" word but improvised instead with something just as derogatory.

 

Perez Hilton "giving props" to Celine does not negate nor redeem the fact that he's a disgusting human being.

 

Maybe I was a little harsh, I'll admit that...but he's not just annoying like a mosquito. He's actually terrible.

 

People don't just become nice overnight. He was losing his fanbase, so he had to do something drastic.

No they used the old one and just photoshopped the band members out of the photos and put a photo of the new band in...

There was a dress recently that appeared more translucent and the design was a little different. Now all I see are pics of the first dress. Did she go back to wearing the original dress? Not the original dress from 2010, but the more recent original dress?
