Hardcore fans probably only make up 10-15% of the yearly audience though. The other audience members would be going "Huh? What is this? I've never heard this song before in my life. Why doesn't she sing something that I've heard of before?" However, these same causal fans and vegas gamblers, who chose Celine as a show because "they like that titanic song", when they hear Over The Rainbow...cry. When Prince songs start, they think "Oh my god, I LOVE Prince!!!!", and so forth. They're just sitting there, waiting to her that glorious voice, rather than thinking "I soooooooooooooooooo wish she would sing Track 7 from her 3rd french album followed by Track 2 of her 7th English language album - oh my God, could have been a single. WHY SONY??? WHY??????" Yet, she performs and has performed non-singles which weren't covers in the past, whether to promote an album or not: "Seduces Me," "Declaration Of Love" and "I Surrender," to name just a few. The only way these songs became staples in her shows and in the public eye/ear is by her performing them. Songs such as "Then You Look At Me" and "Somebody Loves Somebody" could just as easily become iconic for she and her shows if she would just perform them. So far, the closest we've ever gotten to having "Then You Look At Me" being performed is when it was used for a dance routine on a season of FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance?": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQL97mx6dyw I think the fact this song was chosen at all by Mia to choreograph for that show says a lot about the fans' and her belief in the song. If only Celine and her team would feel the same. 3

So with this performance she got a ton of hearts for ABM and TSMGO. and the ending. Cute. The note for ABM got a ton. I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I didn't hate this part when I was there in person. Mostly because as soon as the video's done is the MAGICAL moment when Celine appears in the audience for Immortality. So it's kind of a fun shift. But I do hope they replace the video soon with something live -- like featuring the musicians or backup vocalists. I also hope they change the Intro to the show. I didn't love the fan-video intro. I like the IDEA of it -- since Celine has relied on her fans through this difficult time in her life. But I think they could do a video that pumps the audience up a bit more. Like career highlights or something more like the TAKING CHANCES WORLD TOUR sexy, high energy opener. I think the audience should feel like OH MY GOD I'M ABOUT TO SEE CELINE DION IN PERSON RIGHT NOW. And I like the high energy fading into the very dramatic I Surrender. 3

One compliment tho, I'm sorry I love the album version, but please enough of "Incredible"' it's a bore fest they completely ruined the arrangement of the song and took out all of its radio friendly quality and oumphf. If they must do another duet to help her preserve her voice more I'd rather have " I'm Your Angel" at least that sounds better live. But even better yet, just replace " Incredible" with " Falling Into You" and I'd be in heaven! Lol or how of a great idea would it be to just take out A New Day Has Come of the medley and replace with a slow and acoustic version of Love Can Move Mountains into the medley instead. Listen to the second verse of show must go on from August 27th and the second verse of it here..... it's completely lost the conviction and umph it had opening night. That's just one example. I honestly think she's bored or, understandably, her mind is elsewhere. She's once again back into the routine of doing the same songs in the same order night after night. Whereas when she went back in August it was all fresh to her and she was enjoying it. I was lucky enough to be there and you could just tell that even though she had a lot going on she did enjoy being on the stage. But once again it's all just a bit "routine" to her and the robot is taking over. I would urge Scott to mix up the set list every time she returns to Vegas and put new songs in and take the ones she's bored of out. I love the prince covers, they are just perfect for the show and I would nevever replace Them with one of her over 20 year old Songs that I don't really like anyway 2

Her team is just not going to listen to fans. She sort of says it herself in the periscope video just before the acoustical segment. Paraphrasing here but she says, 'I've been singing these songs for years and it's your fault because you want me to.' (something like that) That statement sort of irritated me! It would so work with the show. She could do You and I for all the fans that flew to Vegas, she could do tell him with barbra on screen..please make use of that orchestra! At least sing the songs that made you famous! That's the way it is as a full version. Gone with if i can dream when all that is done is showing the video. Stupid choice! Then you look at me should be in the same block as my heart will go on because both are James Horner's creations. All these covers..and love can move mountains is sooo outdated and too much improvisation. Maybe i am too demanding but it is such a shame that so many great songs never see daylight..
