I haven't look at it since the premiere of her come back. From what I remember she's singing IS to open the show. There's an accoustic part where she sings I'm alive and/or ANDHC (which i can't wait!!!). There's immortality in the audience. She finishes with MHWGO and then Over the Rainbow (perfect ending when I watched it on the premiere). I can't fully remember the rest of the show. Many songs like WDMHBN I think are still part of the show, but i'm not too sure. Would you keep it as a surprise or would you look at the set list for some reasons? ps: Don't tell me the songs i'm missing!! 2

Going to a Celine show where you don't know the setlist is like...there's a high to it I can't even describe. For instance, the 2011 premiere I looked at the dress rehearsal setlist and was not nearly as entertained as 2015 when I was literally creaming my jeans in excitement over not knowing evry single song that was next.... I remember like 15 minutes before the show I had heard that IS and OTR were the openers/closers and I didn't even believe it because it seemed so random. It's a nice time of year to be in Vegas. You will have an amazing time at the show. You must mean that your going this coming weekend, cause next weekend she NOT even there, So It must be this weekend Haha. That is a geographic thing. It don't think the opening night note was live (it's totally different to the 2008 playback and different to how she normally sings it live, she holds the note just like the album version which to me suggests she listened to that before going into the studio). One possible explanation is that they recorded a new playback, but after opening night they felt it was too raw/harsh compared to the very polished 2008 version? I too am disappointed, I thought the new version sounded much more convincing given the acoustics of the Colosseum. Like literally instantly. I didn't even need to wait for the different transition of how she executed the end of the note. Its funny i alwaya tell myself i wont go psycho crazy by clapping over a lipped note and on 29 and 3o i just stayed seated during the abm note, but on the 27th i bolted out of that chair so fast the second i heard the note lol. And i think the user you were quoting wasn't referring to the fact that it actually was live. Just that it sounded live, sounded legit, and not fake and obvious like the one she uses now. The transition to that note on some shows is a bit obvious due to the sound change. I remember after the show I said they should immediately retire that playback so we can all live on believing it was live whether it was or not due to no proof that it was. Lmao. Maybe they listened to that comment. 2

Improvising is one thing but she's almost sounding mariah-ish in some songs changing melody and phrasing in verses and shortening certain words to sound choppier. It doesn't sound as good as openin night. Most of kiss was god awful, but a couple things she played with were well appreciated by me, particularly the very end (maybe I was just happy it was over). Rdmh gets worse every time I hear it. I guess before I get attacked I should be clear - the voice is still there, that's apparent. But the laziness in her phrasing and singing is more clear than ever. Listen to the second verse of show must go on from August 27th and the second verse of it here..... it's completely lost the conviction and umph it had opening night. That's just one example. PEOPLE WILL JUST EXPRESS THEIR OPINION> That's fine but as always you can't please veryone. I'd rather her improvise because I LOVE IT LIKE HEAVEN. I SING TOO, and it's heaven when she does it. It's not boring that way. It's expression and it doesn't sound robotic, it's not laziness. The only think I worry with celine's singing is the "eating of words or "lurve" instead of love. Nasal? Hey she's not nasal lately in fact she's sounding better than ever from time to time. 1 CELINE DION IS THE BEST. THE ONE, THE ONLY, PERFECTION.

When I think about say the 1996 shows and the 1997 FIY shows there's not much difference really. Think it goes with the territory. Unless she really changes her setlist, and not just a song or two, then there could really be something to get excited about 😃 but this is just my opinion lol
