He was attacked by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas, only AFTER he made derogatory comments toward Fergie and the rest of the group. Will.I.Am approached Perez about these comments, and then called will.i.am a fag*ot to get a rise out of him...that's when their manager attacked Perez...with good reason. Perez then later admitted that he wanted to call him the "N" word but improvised instead with something just as derogatory.

 

Perez Hilton "giving props" to Celine does not negate nor redeem the fact that he's a disgusting human being.

 

Maybe I was a little harsh, I'll admit that...but he's not just annoying like a mosquito. He's actually terrible.

 

People don't just become nice overnight. He was losing his fanbase, so he had to do something drastic.

I don't think calling someone a name justifies the manager assaulting/attacking him. Violence can never be justified.

I hope Perez did sue for assault.

Both songs are terrible and why are we talking about such crap songs 7 years later? Both were embarrassing efforts for a singer of her stature and had no business being included on her first English album in years.... just my opinion of course lol. I think recently her albums haven't felt complete because there's a few good songs that have potential, and the rest of the album is filler material

it is one of my favorite, with skies of L.A. it is so calm.
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

Oh! ❤️ HYEBIL on the ANDHC CBS special was pure golden, smooth, velvet. Her tone and annunciation. One of my favourite performances ever ever ever. I fear if it was back in Vegas she would eventually sing it in her own brand of VASAL way (Vegas-nasal :P)

I think the show would be more interesting for big fans like most members of this forum are.

I hope Perez did sue for assault.

 

He did sue, and then wanted to donate the money to a cause named for Matthew Shepard. Which Matthew's mom declined to take because of Perez's part in the situation. Violence may not be justified, but don't provoke someone if you don't want to face the consequences.

 

Back to Celine and HYEBIL...I agree with Stevo that the ANDHC CBS special performance was brilliant. Absolutely perfect. Coming in close 2nd would be the performance at The Tonight Show. I would love to see this added to the set list!

They have to add More powerful drums, like the recording. In this clip, the piano is lowder than the drums basically. And more echo to make the High notes extreme.

I agree 100% too!! It's so great, so classy! I love the song. It did take me a while to like it, but I think it's a great song that's totally underrated.

Loved the performance on Divas for HYEBIL, she should wear a pink dress again she looked amazing.

I'd be terribly sad if Mr. Paganini and Quand ca balance were ever cut.

That being said, would absolutely love Le ballet to make it into the show - my top 5 fave Celine song ever. Or just more French songs in the show, period.

 

On a separate note, I was at a salon here in Manhattan earlier today and playing on their system was Celine en francais. Imagine that. In New York!

I'd keep Mr Paganini as it was one of my favorites from the show and HYEBIL... no thank you. Other than those two, great options.
