Please put yourselves in her shoes and what she has been through these past two years, if she wants to perform two minutes of "Hello," let her! I don't care how nasally or off key she may sound. You are not a fan if all you do is criticize her about something SHE WANTED TO DO BECAUSE IT MADE HER HAPPY. GIVETHIS WOMAN A BREAK. Celine, you're wonderful. nuts2you Posted January 3, 2016 at 11:57 PM Posted January 3, 2016 at 11:57 PM Sharon, I really don't see her retiring anytime soon, since she still under contract with CP until 2019, and if and when Rene does pass , he want her to continue with her career , END OF STORY.

nuts2you Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:22 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:22 AM now, I would like to know if these ppl posting these Video 's to the Media do they get paid for it
nuts2you Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:25 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:25 AM I also think we should contract her mgmt. So that they understand what being said, it s not pretty , its very hard begin a Diehard Fan, as we are in this together 1
scielle Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:44 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:44 AM 'tis a pity. There are so many other fabulous performances from her that could/ should be trending. Shame it's this one; a random, impulsive one-off. I just wish she/ her team knew how to use social media to their advantage. Could do so much for her if done right. Nevertheless, the vitriol around here is sad. Relax all, let's be civil. 3
smash Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:47 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:47 AM Sharon, I really don't see her retiring anytime soon, since she still under contract with CP until 2019, and if and when Rene does pass , he want her to continue with her career , END OF STORY. I know she is still under contract until 2019. I also know that Rene wants her to carry on with her singing career. But, seriously, if she is going to be treated like this, and ridiculed all the time for everything, I don't think he would want her to have to go through that either, for her to be unhappy. So at some point, it might have to be THE END OF THE STORY. It wouldn't be nice for our Celine, to sing songs, and then just to be pulled to shreds. We can't expect that of her, to just carry on taking all the negativity, and nothing is ever good enough. Celine is out there mainly for her fans, and this is what she gets, disgraceful. No thanks. gafsa Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:48 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:48 AM I thought it was okay, she doesn't sang it serioisly. I never like this song and the way Adele sang this song anyway. I think I have to take another listen to her rendition and find out why she got so much bad review as some fans said here because I never read any single review good or bad.
DionFanAlways Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:49 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:49 AM and sometimes too long I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

No one paid to hear it, yet everyone are happy to spew their sh.... I know the people around here doesn't feel that way and post hateful comments about her on internet. When i read she sings with her nose, she has a quebecers accents, not a french one, like it is a bad thing to come from Quebec, i feel it pretty badly. 2 Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....
chocolatechip15 Posted January 4, 2016 at 01:13 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 01:13 AM (edited) Have you all seen this version? The audio is better, which makes the overall performance sound better. My take is that this was a nice little spontaneous thing that Celine did b/c she loved the song, and the audience seemed to love it. It was an ok performance of the song (personally, I prefer Adele's version) - but it was decent -- lots of emotion, as CelineDionFreak mentioned, and the passion and power Celine brings to every song, and a sweet ending of her own. As for the impact on her career -- I don't think there will be any, either way. She's a singer. She sings lots of songs in her show. At this point in a 35-year career of massive hits and spectacular shows, the fact that Celine performed a shortened version of a popular current song, once, as a quick little add-on in her magnificent show -- and some people liked it, some didn't -- will not have any effect at all on her career. I think sometimes fans get a bit carried away about the impact each little thing will have. And i think Celine is waaaay beyond caring about stupid comments people make on youtube videos, if she sees them at all. There are much more important things in her life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzSA3DXjEb8 Edited January 4, 2016 at 01:14 AM by chocolatechip15 5

Amen to that.I'm fairly sure Celine's got a pretty thick skin. If she hadn't, she wouldn't have done half the stuff she's done in her life - both professionally and personally. 4
alvick53 Posted January 4, 2016 at 01:27 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 01:27 AM Doesn't she start off by saying, "Just for fun, okay"... so that's all we should take this as. Plus she didn't even sing the entire song, just the first part and then joking used the second part to wish her audience a Happy New Year. We all know that Celine loves Adele, so if she wanted to sing this song to the very best of her ability she'd go into a recording studio and record her own version. So no criticism, no standing ovations, I'm just going to take this video for what she said, "Just for fun". 1
tomdalbou Posted January 4, 2016 at 02:45 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 02:45 AM The question is... Why is she so off key lately? What is happening to her voice? She doesn't sleep well? She doesn't train her voice anymore? I don't care that she sings Hello in her show. Really don't. What bothers me is watching her kinda loose it. And it makes me sad. 5

nuts2you Posted January 4, 2016 at 03:32 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 03:32 AM Well one thing for sure if Rene is still watching this show from home, Im pretty sure Rene has told her about it already,, BTW just looking at her next show , it will not be until Wed Night , which gives her days off.
marc-02 Posted January 4, 2016 at 03:36 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 03:36 AM i think the best version audio-wise was the one shot by Perez Hilton... the flat notes were not that obvious because of the echo and reverb lol... 1

Popular Post CelinesDIVO5 Posted January 4, 2016 at 05:22 AM Popular Post Posted January 4, 2016 at 05:22 AM I couldn't read any more of this Celine vs. Adele drivel, and it wasn't worth it for me to skim through the last few pages to read posts that may have deterred from this ridiculous conversation. Personally, I didn't like Celine's version of "Hello." It was ill prepared IMO. Is it the end of the world? No. Do we all have to lick Celine's butt hole after every note she sings? No. At the end of the day, she's human and she just wanted to do it. I'm sure that being there, regardless of whether or not she sounded good, was a very different experience than those of you who have nothing better to do than play it on repeat and analyze and criticize every millisecond of the performance. For those who love Celine and the song, it was probably exciting for them to be there live to see and hear Celine do it...and that's okay too. I think it's time to move on. #NEXT 11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

Oisbird Posted January 4, 2016 at 10:20 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 10:20 AM Don't understand why people critized a performance done occasionnelly. She sounds great. How many singers can pretend to have a voice like her at her age? Not so many.
browseceline Posted January 4, 2016 at 10:34 AM Posted January 4, 2016 at 10:34 AM I don't think she deserves this. Being off key could be because of problems with her hear monitors. She could not hear the piano well Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G901F met Tapatalk <iframe width="640" height="390" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hl2XkxnYljg" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
