She didn't like the idea of having childish drawings for her Sans attendre album instead of the real photos taken (she openly admitted this during an interview), and nevertheless the album got the drawings. Who understands Céline some times?

And it doesn't look bad at all. On the contrary, is one of the few real videos she has made with an outdoors setting and not standing in front of a green wall. For one that she makes with real settings and interacting with people, and they decide not to release it. Grrreat.

 

What would the rest of the team and people who participated think if they find out that the video wasn't released just because "Céline doesn't like it"?

 

they wasted money, that's all a video like that is not cheaper

She looked amazing in that photo shoot too. Such a shame to have the drawings. Maybe it was Rene who wanted to go with the drawings? Or maybe it had already been decided to go with the drawings before the photo shoot??

i think they wanted to change her image . Even if the photos from D'Elles were great , it was not a succes, people felt that they were losing the simple Celine . musically , lyrically, it created a distance between her and her fans. So they came back with something totally different and opposite , that was more like the old Celine. I think that was a good decision.

I meant it was a shame that the photo shoot was done just before a new album came out. I was disappointed none of the photos were part of the album. The drawings aren't really my cup of tea. Sorry, they're ok, but I'd rather have seen Celine and that amazing colourful fun photo shoot.

I was talking about the magazine photo shoot she did just before the album came out, not a shoot for an album before or after album releases. What was it, v magazine? I had such high hopes for the album, but alas it's my least favourite, songs and cover. Anyway EUS restored my faith 😀

Well she may have liked the drawings, but not the idea of having drawings on her album (or the album cover)

So, and what's what I said? Did you read my post? I didn't say she didn't like the drawings, but the IDEA of using the drawings instead of a real photoshoot for which she was satisfied, which is very different And hence, yes, she looked and was disappointed for this decision.

Sometimes i wish it was like in the 90s when internet was not that relevant like nowadays. When cds really mattered and how happy you could be buying an album and surprise yourself with the unknown songs.

Can you provide a source for that? Because what I said it was said by Céline during an interview, and she says quite the opposite dear, quite the opposite:

They host says they were "surprised" that they used drawings instead of real pictures on the album cover and they ask her and she says "I felt super excited and super disappointed at the same time with the idea. Happy because these images, almost like caricatures, they lighten a bit the emotions portrayed. I don't use to do photoshoots, I feel like I haven't taken new pictures since 20 years, it doesn't make any sense (...). I don't want to sound pretentious, they took some incredible photos of me. Alix has made a spectacular job, Annie too (...). For once that I love my pictures and then THEY tell me they will use caricatures, is that a joke or what?"

 

I never mind to explain my posts or to provide as many info as possible to explain what I say, but if there's one thing I abhore the most is to be left as a liar or a fool. Next time, please provide a source for your arguments, because you couldn't be more wrong with this. Thank you.
