As much as I absolutely love those two albums, I find it a bit sad to kill Encore un soir with this 2-CD boxset as it's still charting decent after two years. It should sell around 30k again this year.

Yes exactly. Thats why I said it's too early... a good l limited edition with the making of DVD or Live 2016 or Live 2017 would have been more respectful

EUS was not ready to be in a boxset, much too early. It is her most recent and still sucessfull album.

SA is the standard jewel case. EUS is the standard digipak

It's for sale on Amazon.com and you can find it on eBay too. The jewelcase version was released initially in the US, but also Argentina, Mexico and Russia got the album in jewelcase versions.

I don't know about the other countries you mentioned, but it wasn't released in jewelcase in Argentina, only digipack edition (standard, with only 12 songs.) I know because it's where I live

I am not sure if I solved the riddle of the unreleased EUS-video (but maybe I watched too many conspiracy movies ):

By chance I discovered that they where filming precisely infront of the Embassy of Peru. Maybe the Peruvian government hadn't been asked for permission and so they weren't allowed to release the whole video??

For those of you who use Earth View: Type in "50 Ave. Kléber" and with the Streetview you can discover everything.

 

And there is another rumour I read on Instagram (not knowing either if it is correct), but that person said that in some french newspaper was published that this video was only produced for a french tv-special (not mentioning which exactly).

 

Well, well ... maybe some day we will all got to know why we can't see the whole "masterpiece".

Could be there was never an actual music video filmed, it was just that 1 min commercial for the album :/

 

I don't think special permission is needed to film in front of a building (even if it's a governmental building), only if it's in the inside that permission would be necessary. I think the only permission they needed was to film on the street since they would need to block traffic and close off that area while they filmed.

Omg, if they are so lazy, is it so hard to use some recording studio footage combined with some parts of a live performance and behind the scenes tour footage and put together a music video when they don’t feel like doing a proper one? Maybe it was an artistic move. I know nobody is used to it with Céline, but who knows?

 

I really think this MV looks irrelevant : just walking in the street,smiling in the daylight? To me it would have killed the vibe of the song - at least how I picture it - which is kind of sad and the whole dramatic, slow-motion, steamy and dark atmosphere.

 

I'm on the "better nothing than lame stuff" side.

The question is: Why did they cancel the full video (I'm sure they had enough material) and released a promo-video instead? I love the lyric video, but I would like to see the full music video.

Maybe Celine/Sony liked the idea of the lyric video more. I also think the video fits the song more than the music video.

That’s why I said they filmed the full videoclip and then they kept it. Just like the summer tours. For nothing. But they filmed the whole thing (just like Celine’s first message talked about a VIDEOCLIP)
