Yeah I’m quite curious where they used it too. I’m sure they smoothened out her face but other than that? To be honest though, her jaw does look a bit weird.

A lot of the photos Alix Malka took of Celine for both LMBTL and EUS looked extremely over edited and rather strange in the face looking... not my fav. I do love the cover of EUS though, and the picture of Celine in the red dress that was featured in the mini-tour tour books

Yeah, believe it or not, that’s how the IACBTMN challenge started. They asked fans to recreate a scene from the song. Took a year or so for it to take off, but boy did it!! I miss those 🥲

I love the whole album, I listen to all songs quite regularly, this list is a try to reflect how much I listen to the songs

I think I mentioned somewhere else that I’m currently re listening through her full back catalogue as although I love her, I don’t stream her older stuff terribly often but anyway started with the French albums and finally up to date with those, it’s amazing both the evolution and changes to her voice as you go. Certainly the deeper tones to me are more than likely through age more than anything else but you do here this closed throat kind of singing which I used to describe as it sounds like she’s singing with gum in her mouth, and trying to keep it from falling out. It does seem noticeable to me on the 2003 Une Fille Et Quatre Type but not so much on 2007’s D’Elles so not sure if it’s altogether to do with her SPS symptoms or not. Just find that interesting upon listening through.

 

Anyway, back to this record, on Tu Sauras, can someone French speaking explain why she sounds like she’s singing ‘Du’ Sauras throughout rather than a ‘Tu’ sounding or is it just my ears 😂

I think that on her recent albums (EUS/Courage) the production and pronunciation were just bad. If she records a new album, she needs a better producer. But I fear that's a general trend in the music industry.

This needs to be in Dolby Atmos in order to correct some forward vocals especially in Ma Faille. I like this song because it sounds like a soundtrack to a film but because of some parts that it’s quite annoying before it hits the chorus. The vocals is so forward and loud it hurts my ears
