I thought it was 170 euros, but it's really 170,000 euros!!! It's a record amount.

The highest was Johnny Haliday's last year which sold for 120.000

 

Wow! How much would that be?

I think that's the only song with real hit potential... but they deffo have to do their homework. Just sending another promo to the radio's won't cut it...

I took a VERY quick trip to UK yesterday, left in the morning and came back in the evening. Listened to this album while trying to sleep on the plane (2 and half hours and 3 hours) and I have to say that it's my favorite album. I do not get tired of the songs.

This is also proof that Sony thinks they don't have to do anything.

She is the easiest artist to earn money, just release an album and it will be on the 7th place.

 

Imagine what place it would have been if she/they promoted it like ANDHC.

 

Have hope that they will do that for her next english album, the world wants it.

Album sales are so DEAD! Takes sales of 1m to become the 7th best selling album the year. IF the English album sells 1.5m copies, then we should all be celebrating. :yes:

my husband put the record by himself on the turntable this afternoon, i kkow that he listens to the cd quite often in his truck, we have a new fan... :giggle:

The longest version I've seen of the clip so far. I don't think I would have liked this music video, apparently it was going to be another one featuring Céline singing the song alternating with images of random people doing random things

 

Anyways, would be nice to watch the full thing one day...

well, we never know how it's going on with the decisions TC makes lol :wacko:

I think maybe there is nothing more and they shoot it just for the commercials, and when they called it on IG a 'music video' they meant just this clip.

And EUS, the single as well as the album, surely deserved more attention, they could give at least live music video from summer tour :ermm:

Maybe they have a video and JJG just didn't like it?

Come to think of it, that would actually be a plausible explanation. He had a lot of creative input in the videos of PQTME. And didn't he have scenes cut from Je Sais Pas? (scenes he described as 'straight from an Italian erotic movie' :D)

 

If JJG didn't like the video, I can't imagine Céline going ahead with the release. She respects his opinion too much.

 

From what I've seen of it, I don't think the video suits the song anyway. She looks great though.

Nah, I doubt they meant just that short clip. Something must have happened between before August 26th (I think they were supposed to release the video the same day as the album), but I guess we'll never know :hmm:

I agree, Instead of 1 million they could sell 2 millions, I just dont understand why they chose, for example, that Sans Attendre would have 3 videos and for this, much better album, zero. Even if they are cheap, they still attracts new fans, viewers. Take a look at Mariah's "I dont", what a cheap video and shes already gained 17 millions views, which I'm pretty sure helped to repay it already.

And what? The single was a big flop #89 in the charts... and poor sells... and she burned a expensive wedding dress for nothing.

I am so desperate for a Celine music video that I enjoyed this! Completely oblivious to the non-existent driver creep, Celine doing nothing and the obvious anti-climax. :P Wish it would be released.

I HIGHLY doubt Mr. Goldman acts like such a diva so as to prohibit a videoclip just because he (and ony he) doesn't like it :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Let alone after working with her for 5 albums and at this stage of her career :)
