Don't tell that to Joe, as half of her videos don't play in the States But I disagree... as much as her English career is global, her French career is mainly focussed on Québec and France (Belgium, Switzerland). In Québec they like a different kind of music... and JNV IMO is a more Québec song than France. Also, she never really releases real singles anymore. It's only an mp3 download and a radio release, so they can support two different songs at once. Uhhh! I still hope that even Le bonheur en face becomes a single... the refrain is quite magical and beautifully arranged... and I didn't like it that much at the very beginning cause the verses didn't merge perfectly with the chorus. JNV is perfect for Quebec. And it's almost 4 mins long. And a ballad. Back when a song was a song... (wouldn't mind of they release a radio edit). 1 Quote

Now its just proforma Well the mainstream / pop radio may not play her music any longer, but the classic AC radio still do so in France and Quebec. Important at this stage is to give something that meets the main target taste;)Releasing a song written by Marc Dupré in Quebec is a good move IMO. Even digital singles are getting very low numbers now... Soon ITunes won't exist anymore and people on this board will still want physical supports. "L'étoile" as a third single is the first one since I don't know when to get a top60 airplay in France ( so far). However I think "Tu sauras" would be the perferct final single for the summer along with a music video (if they still know what it is)... it will be perfect as soundtrack of the tour. it's fresh and very summer-ich. But as usual Sony is messing up : Zaho released her new album last week, she is quite everywhere... talking about Céline ... they should have capitalized on it as they're unable to promote their stuff themselves. They even showed "Tu sauras" recording sessions. .. probably from the documentary we never got (that lays now beside Phil spector's songs, EUS music video , live to love full version and many more...). 2 Quote
