Where can I buy USA version of the standard version? Is amazon.com selling EU version?

In Spain, the sales of EUS are surprisingly good. Even the media is starting to echoe the figures, especially emphasising that it is a French album.

They compared her with the sales of Britney, which Céline duplicates loosely! I'm so proud and delighted :wub:

According to this news, the figures right now are:

 

1st week in France: 218.684

2nd week: 86.141

1st week in Canada: 60.175

 

And counting she's #1 in Belgium and Switzerland and the sales in the rest of the countries, Mediatraffic estimates 450.000 copies already sold globally :whee:

Continues to say that with the Christmas campaign (and especially the promo in November) the 1 million mark is assured, and 2 million copies are possible.

 

In Spain it entered #48 and it jumped to #18 this week :o

 

But in Spain she's nowhere to be played, or barely found in the music stores. Sometimes I'm glad it is this way. Maybe the day that SMSpain or Spanish public start paying attention to Céline, it means that something is not working with her anymore, or that she's releasing rubbish music :P

 

Just a happy Spanish fan today :laugh: :in_love:

The standard version on amazon.com is the USA version (crystal case) :)

Do we have the photos from the booklet in high resolution somewhere?

I would love to have them printed in a DIN A 1 or 0 format.

That is so true. The first time I listened I wasn't too happy and I was surprised it was a Venerouso song... But as I listen more and more it is better and better!

plus qu'ailleurs is becoming a fave of mine not because of celine's vocals but the melody itself it is so francis cabrel i love it!

i was loving it but not as much. I really see the nostalgia in it, like plus qu'ailleurs ..the other one i love a lot. I'm just a sad person if i go by that. :giggle:

i like the Zaho songs also... :giggle: i think she made a good mix. Toutes ces chose is about the only one i'm not in love, too much like Lynda Lemay , another québécoise singer who does that kind of songs about ordinary facts of life and talk more than she sings. Nothing is perfect.

Zaho songs are nice, but I'd rather keep the songs composed/arranged by Mutine and Florent Mothe (L'étoile, Les yeux au ciel). To me these guys were the surprise of the album :blush:

We're not always happy with Sony but they must have done something right for this album to be doing so well.

Sure the songs are good but someone needs to sell that thing. There wasn't as much TV promo but I assume there was a lot of EUS posters everywhere (subway, streets, stores, etc.) and the distribution seems to be excellent if we go by the number of physical albums sold. That's as important as a good quality album! :-D

Celine with her fashion thing and her attitude helped a lot . And the tha tragedy at the beginning of the year, evryone heard about that. And the album and the single is great.

I don't speak a word of French, but I love Celine's french albums maybe more then her English ones... Just ordered my deluxe version over amazon UK and realized that on the regular cd the left out are actually the songs I like the most ma force and a vous... This was kind of funny :-)
