Well according to some post I saw on FB, those who were at the Ellen taping on Fri got "an album, tickets to see Celine in LV, and a stay at Caesars"...I assume the album was EUS? Especially since the Ellen show page seems to make a reference to it as well?

Hopefully they'll at least mention it!

 

They always do that for her audience in Ellen, and I think they used to do it on Oprah too. It never ceases to amaze me. I'm glad those women in the audience (because it's most women) get a free Celine Dion concert without even being fans probably, but if Céline's team have spare tickets to offer them for free promotion in this ocassions, why on Earth they can't do this to their loyal fans on her website too? In 2003 and until 2005 they gave free tickets every month to a bunch of lucky fans. Why they stopped doing this for her fans, and do that for an audience in a TV show that's is just hysterical and most of them are not even fans of Céline? Yeah, it works very well for Céline's image to do this on TV I know...

Why that? That would be the silliest decision ever in her French career! This album is packed with single material, more than ever since the days of JJG in 1998/2003!

From the deluxe edition, I find myself self skipping La Bonheur en Face, ALPHB and Ma Force. To me those songs are just mediocre, especially LBEF and Ma Force are quite bland, fillers. ALPHB is beautiful, but too sad for me at the moment, I don't want to feel those feelings right now.

 

Also, often I skip Ordinaire NOT because I don't like it, because I do, A LOT, but it's such a big song, I mean it's Huge! I do listen to it separately quite often, but If I play the entire album in order, I skip it, because it interrupts the flow for me. Especially if I have the album playing in the background while doing other things, I don't include it in the playlist because that song demands that I listen to it carefully and I have to drop whatever I'm doing. Without those four songs, for me, the album is like a perfect perfume, it develops and flows beautifully and Trois heures vingt is like the subtle dry down that ties it all together

 

And guess what! My spouse also loves the album! He's never been into Celine, with the exception of Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour, he loves that song, but now he often asks me to play the new Celine album. And I joyfully oblige

So I finally received the full package with the 3 main versions of 'Encore Un Soir' (I'm planning to eventually buy the US & Taiwan versions along with the November re-release). Love the fact that they came with 2 unexpected gifts: A promotional picture from the 2012 Alix Malka photo shoot and a sample of Celine's fragrance 'Belong'

I can't believe Sony Music is ignoring one Celine Dion release again, and this is not just a simple one . This is -for once- a good album on the whole.

 

If they are unable to release that videoclip, at least give the album another chance with a new single for the radios, before everyone forgets she has new music out They've done literally nothing since the album was released the past August 26th (except for the M6 performances) and it was precisely then when they should have concentrated the gross of the promotion pack.

 

They'd better move their #ss for that supposed promo she's going to do in November, but I lose hope for moments. Sorry for this blue post

This is one of the French albums most successful and sold, and not have a music video for the first single, which is a hit No. 1, what Sony or Team Celine, do not understand, all its French Cds had a music video for her singles, unless the lyric video is the clip.

This album it has a long shelf life, to have a 5 hit singles, come on Sony better, you guys have always been better with the French albums.

I hope she comes back to make a mine tour with songs from this album, as she did for D'eux.

I've always wondered that, since 2005 at least. I think Celine and Sony Music have a very strong relationship, almost of blind trust from the part of Céline's team. Céline provides big profits to Sony even if Sony does the minimum effort to promote her music, so unfortunately I think both parts are happy the way things go

 

Other record companies would treat her music releases better, though. They would care to place second, third and even four singles taken off her albums with proper videoclips each, no matter if her music sells well or not. It's Celine Dion, not a newbie just arrived in the business.

 

It's not that she *needs* a videoclip released to sell her single. It's not that she *must* have several singles released from her albums and having a video filmed from each single. At this point, we're talking about *wanting* more singles and videos just because the music deserves them, and for respect to her career and the quality of the huge name that she is in the industry, too. For the artistry and the passion of a woman who can do anything she wants with her music, and the possibilities that her team has with such a big artist before them. We're talking about releasing singles and music videos just because the music deserves it. For the music, and for her fans too. Not because she needs to (we already know her albums will sell like pancakes without barely any promotion). But nobody seems to care anymore in her team (I wonder why she releases music albums then? -sorry for being this harsh-).

 

What annoys me the most is that nobody said a word about the lack of videoclip with LMBTL. No journalist asked a question, nobody seemed to care. That's odd, to say the least. And now, the story seems to repeat with EUS videoclip. Nobody asks in the interviews, nobody seems to care. Had it been another big artist with more creative ambitions and respect to her work, it would have been ages since she would have left Sony, created her own record label and start doing things properly with her music releases. Just for the sake of respect to the work released

 

Now don't tell me that Sony doesn't want to spend money on Celine videoclips, or that they don't have budget for her. Please, there are cents of ways to film and release a music video today, without the help and support of record labels, and with very creative and original ideas. Celine could even finance herself in this way, if she needed (not that she needs that at all...!!!! ). But I just think no part is interested in this, nor Sony, nor Céline's team. They just release and record an album when they feel to, like an obligation and that's it. The only thing they seem to care is to exploit the concert/tour aspect of the business. Their goal is to keep announcing Vegas dates and extending that contract forever, and keep touring when she feels so. Perform and tour as much as she can, forever and ever... But they take little to none care of her recorded music. It's sad, and that's why I see Céline not as a full artist. She's a performer machine. She's made to take the stage all the time. But I wish she had a team of professionals that made their best when she releases new music in the market. Album releases just look like a residual value to both parts Guess we should come to terms with it? It's not gonna change unless she left Sony Music, which it's not clearly going to happen ever...

 

Only time will tell, but if EUS is going to be treated the same way as LMBTL, from a marketing and commercial point of view, I give up with her team

Guys, you can't possibly be surprised by Sony?.. Everything goes exactly as it usually goes with Sony when it comes to Celine - nonsense

I don't think that in 2016 we should be expecting something of the kind she did for the D'eux album D'eux album which happened more than 20 years ago
