why people think there is no promo? she is everywhere in québec, as she was for a time in France with her fashion thing, Jimmy Fallon, today show, numerous interviews. She was the talk of the summer. Celine did great.

 

No promo on the week of the release. No TV performances of the hit single, etc

it was not the same kind of promo. A special on tv, chances are that just the fans will listen to it, and god nnows there have been enough of those in the last months. With the fashion thing, going to Jimmy Fallon, every one was exposed to it and it was more cool. People have less time, so they listen and read a little, and they know at the end of the new album. And the first single is great, what better promo can you have.

November : rumour of a re-release with a dvd

Céline is getting much love in the Arabic world recently

I love it but I don't understand why though

With the album and the single topping several Arabic charts in Countries that don't even speak or familiar with French music

Countries like Jordan and Saudi Arabia

And of course in French speaking Arabic countries like Morroco, Tunisia and Algeria

 

Also surprisingly the entire album is available for streaming in the number one streaming survice here Anghami

Okay, I'll try to say this without infuriating myself.

 

What's with all the video uploads on VEVO today, of the audio of all songs? That's nice. Nice start. We now can post videos of the songs' audio. But if they have spent money on doing

1) a lyric video of a 32 year old song, Trois heures vingt,

2) not only a lyric video, but a completely TRUE video with an actress in the video, in different locations,

 

If they're not giving the same treatment to the NEW songs in the album, I'll be a little angry. And I'm sure I won't be the only one

 

In a nutshell, how can they possibly do a lyric video of a 1984 song with a real actress in it and not release lyric videos of all the new songs?

 

I can't wait to share these new songs with my friends. But if all they're going to do is upload lame videos with the album cover and the audio playind behind, I'm so done with this new team They already messed up with the timing for EUS videoclip. I hope they don't screw it up more with the rest of the songs.

 

Pd: Okay maybe I'm anticipating a little here but we saw what happened with EUS videoclip, and the clock is ticking already. If they spent money and time doing all what they did for Trois heures vingt, how on earth they don't have lyric videos for the rest of the songs already prepared? It's as if they live in the XIX century still with things like this

 

You may think "oh what's all the rant about, lyric videos are not important or even regular videos". But yes, they are! I'm sure many of us are waiting to share these new songs in social networks, but I won't post a lame audio video when they have done such beautiful work with THV and they can apply the same effort to the rest of the songs.

 

And I'm not asking for a video with an actress like they did in THV, just some nice lyric video to attract the listener to play the song and follow the lyrics! It's not much

Agreed. Celine did great with the song choices for this mini tour and taking risks in the fashion world. Wearing that "Titanic" outfit still makes me smile to this day. Her team on the other hand -- what a bunch of imbeciles. It's as if the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, and vice-versa. If Patrick is in fact part of her team handling the social media, I think it's time he finds another job. He has never shown the amount of passion needed to do amazing things with Celine's legacy. It all just seems like "just a job" for him. I understand he's probably still grieving from the pain of losing his father, and especially in the manner which he did. I know I'm going to go through hell when my mom who has lung cancer dies. However, that doesn't excuse underwhelming job performance. If he can't do it, then someone else who can should step in. That goes for everybody at TeamCeline, too.

And Aldo was never far from that extended family... I just found out the other day that he's credited in the 1f&4t album credits. 13 years ago...

my husband , the world renowned music critic find this album very good, much than the last , english or french she has done.
