She is out of the iTunes top200 in the States.

 

Oh no, wish so much that she enters the BB Top 200, even at the 200th place, just for history... How could we do?

I have my copy what are the ribbons for? I am being stupid? it came with a notebook and ribbons in a nice box from Amazon UK.

Well, the whole album is For him and she's Always talking about him everywhere and Everytime, which I love!!! Plus, the album has their picture together with TVEC and another quote about life and Death. I think we can't complain ;)

Tout va être correct, which means everything will be okay. As far as the quote, not sure, not near the album right now.

I'm aware of that and I wasn't complaining. Just surprised.

 

Absolutely loving Ordinaire. First album in years I've listened to twice in one afternoon. There's not one single song I don't like. I got quite bored (apart from a few tracks) quickly with D'elles and SA. Can't see that happening with this one.

Also, as a bit of bonus trivia lol, "TVEC" first appeared in a photo of Rene after having beaten cancer for the first time...I think it was written on balloons to celebrate his being declared cancer free in 2000. This is the same phone Celine has on her nightstand now and the photo the twins kiss every night.

 

LOL! I can't even remember my own phone number but I remember this :P

Probably she needn't to. The whole project (album+tour) and the promo is a constant ongoing hommage to him :)

That's the key. Céline's albums have been typically boring recently. But this one it's not, it asks for more plays after every listen ^_^

the first lp have seen a lot of action....it is true that there no L'étoile or ma faille on her last album...it was more family oriented and therefore more gnagna... Edited by québecflower

I got my copy of the deluxe edition of the album yesterday, and listened to it right before I went to bed. :)

If I remember correctly the quote says something along the lines of 'life is a dream until death wakes us up'.

I hope not. But if it's true, we would be seeing this promo clip on internet or tv quite often. But it is nowhere. So I believe it will be a real video clip after all.

I think not because there were other parts shot. For instance when she was at a corner of a street with a young girl sitting on the pavement. And I do not think we have seen this footage yet.

We have seen this from a fan recording footage. I thought the same that it is only a promotional clip for Eus.

Wow! I must say that this album is really growing on me. It might not have D'eux's fantastic JJG's songs but it's a very different album than we're used to. And while I'll always associate Celine with big power ballads with wonderful melodies, I really love seeing her take chances and explore different directions. It means (to me) that she is a truly evolving artist who is not reverting to tried-and-tested formulas that will sell albums but dares to explore. I really love and respect that.

 

If I could change just two things about the album in general, it would be : transpose everything a tone or two down (I remember her saying that in French she always sings at lower keys than in English but for some reason this album sounds like it's higher than previous French one's??) and not mix her voice so upfront. But yet again, pushing her voice more to the back with reverb would make it less intimate and this album is all about intimacy.

 

Anyway, this album, to me, is her finding a way to "cross the bridge" as she herself has said, and it is doing that very very well.

as what I ve watched from the red heads. The tilting down from the anti clockwise clock seems like a technical skill by the dop to indicate the beginning as well as the establishing shot. But right,fhe ending of the promo video of the TV has no ending from what I ve observed. So I think we have a high chance to get the music video. I really wish that there is a MV for this masterpiece. Love this song so much along with l'etoile. Edited by Ericwwc
