Well my logic says that if it is at #50 at mid-week, where the majority of the copies have been sold, if we consider a full week, it will be between #80-100.

 

It won't fall that far; logic says that it will sell as much as Sans attendre did - if it sells 1,500 copies [like Sans attendre did] it will chart top 60.

I reduced the vocals on each song from the album on my channel. Some are close to instrumental! I also brought out some vocal parts that are not easily heard on the originals.

OMG I love it! Do you think you could make Celine's voice less "high pitched" on Ma faille? I tried but in vain.

 

And to all of you who are editing the songs, do you know if it's possible to reduce the effects on the voice, for example during the bridge of "L'etoile"?

Could someone tell me what's exactly wrong with her pronunciation? I don't speak french at all so can't tell the difference. Does she sound too quebec-like or... ?

I agree that her pronunciation could be better. I'm wondering if perhaps people in the studio were too intimidated to point such a "silly" thing to her

 

As much as I adore the French language, I never understood these complaints about bad pronunciation. I mean, I see what this is about, but isn't her way of pronouncing stuff part of her identity as a singer? Many other singers pronounce 'badly', and it is often part of their uniqueness.

In some countries, like the US, also buying individual tracks will count for the...Album Chart.

Guys this is an album that is a grower. It just keeps growing and growing and growing, at least on me. I'm on the third listen now

 

First play was like "uh? I need to listen once again". After second play I was like: "Okay, there are several ones that I like but I'm still not impressed". And now with the third play, the album is asking me to play it again because I can't get enough

 

There are lots of highlights in this album. I need to listen more because I don't know where to start. Now Toutes ces choses is playing and I absolutely love the meaning of the song, and it brings tears to my eyes, really . But Les yeux au cieul, Tu sauras (oh.my.God. what a modern song, in all its terms! So much needed in Céline's discography!), L'étoile...

 

Needless to say that this is a better work than Sans attendre, more diverse and hence richer to my view, because it engages more listeners.

 

My only complaint is that some songs are too short, like I already said! They should have repeated x2 the last chorus in certain songs. And in Je nous veux (which I loved since the first play ) I would have sung differently the last chorus...

 

Other than that, so far, I think this album is loaded with excellent songs from start to end, for once in many years
