I can see how the hype about the new album has slowed down only after 24 hours here... What are you all doing, listening to the album like crazy? Or the momentum it's just gone already :confused1:

Yeah I'm listening to it loads!

plus qu'ailleurs and Je nous veux are really french in essence, a touch of medieval and folklore in the music and romantic value in the lyrics. Maybe that's why it calms me, things were pretty slow in those time.

they should do some more promotion on social media and her website, provide english translation of the songs, finally release the EUS Video, but instead they don't do anything Edited by ryba

Yeah, I have to admit it's really strange they haven't released the videoclip yesterday already, to celebrate the album release

I think they're not aware of the powerful tool that still is today a music video, especially for sharing it in social networks :pinch:

Yep, right with you on that. They need to keep the momentum going as much as possible. Why are they so slow to release the video? There are obviously reasons that we don't know or understand but this doesn't make any sense!!

Of course people are listening. After all, that's what it's all about - the music.

Let me add a bit of a new (original) perspective: I absolutely appreciate the album's opener: Plus qu'alleurs. Wonderful song. Love how it heralds the acoustic feel of the album.

Guess I'm the only one?

No I adore that song too!! It's really soft and beautiful!

Please could someone review the new songs comparing them with old ones? Which song reminds you of other previous Celine song?

First thoughts on this album: the strength sounds the orchestration. It adds a depth even to the most poppish songs. They work this very well. Overall the production is superb.

I really like the song, but I don't think it's the best opener for the album...

Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)

It's the best song to open the album from these songs. Really. It's great

There are many songs that I love in this album, like EUS, Ordinaire, L'eotile, Les yeux au ciel, Je nous veux, Tout ces choses, ALPHB and PQA (mainly for the text)... but I think that Si c'etait a refaire is one of the true gems of this album: Celine's voice is over the top, the text and the music are on point and the meaning is sooo touching    Edited by Lotty

The ending of Toutes Ces Choses gives me chills every time... When she says "chest ta voix dans la nuit qui murmure je t'aime" I imagine Céline in her bed at night, imagining René telling her that she loves her...

What a wonderful song!!!! Loveeeeee it!!!! I want this song as a single

I also adore Le Bonheur en Face. Is it just me or does her voice remind you of the 2000's (or possibly even older?) I think she sounds lovely on that song. Her tone is so beautiful!

Ma Force was written by Vianney-... the guy who sings "mais t´es où? pas la!"

BTW I think there are chances this becomes her highest charting french album ever on the WW Chart... since she doesn't have much international competition at this time of the year. I really hope she sells more than Britney in an international level. We'll see!

Thank you for solving my problem!!! And Yes, I think that EUS will be a great album and the album will get the hit more than english albums of the other singers!!!

In my opinion, EUS is the best album of Celine of last years!!!

Sorry for my english guys!!!

I'd never say this album and One heart are alike

Me neither. I cannot understand the comparison.

To ANDHC maybe. To OH, not at all. On OH, the production was non existent (due to the Swedish team...). Here, it is the opposite!

It's not because there are current sound that it is comparable to OH. Actually on OH the so called current sound were already old - pop, whereas it was already two years behind :-)

There is Bab's album too. She might do good in the USA and to some extent in the UK.

Re: Britney, dunno. Her single flopped. Not certain how it will affect her album sales globally.

Interesting ranking. It seems the songs that are more 'modern' (whatever that is supposed to mean) are all in the bottom half, with more 'traditional' Celine songs dominating the top.

Aren't the bubblegum pop songs supposed to be so hot that people will love them, perhaps even drawing in new, younger fans?

Doen't look like it so far - which isn't suprising, because why should a teenager who loves this kind of pop and has dozens of singers to choose from go for this kind of music from Celine, a singer her or his parents like?

Well it shows maybe that Sony has to try to promote the more modern songs ^_^

It's been ages that Celine has had current pop songs on the radio. L'étoile or Les Yeux au ciel are quite classic pop actually but both are fresh, catchy and radio-friendly. From there, who knows? ^_^ :-D

Guys, I got my Deluxe edition of the album yesterday. The funny thing is that it wasn't available at any Mediamarkt here, which has actually never been the case before. They had to order it. So I went to another store, they only had one Deluxe edition available (?!?) and I grabbed it :D it's strange that the deluxe editions are so scarce in Germany now

Maybe because Celine sales in Germany have constantly been decreasing since ANDHC unfortunately ?

I agree.

First listening was mixed. Maybe because it is not a straightforward / easy song. But today I surprised myself humming it after all. Lyrics, melody and vocals are superb. A lot of work.

Well, I finally had a chance to hear the entire album last night. I love it. I love the opener. I love, love <3 My Faille. So awesome. It, and Les Yeux Au Ciel were fighting it out in my head last night. Love them both, they make me wanna dance. So does A Vous and L'etoille. I think they picked the perfect opener. I do. I love Toutes Cet Choses, I love Je Nous Veux, and I adore La Bonheur en Face!! I do like Tu Sauras, though I'd say it's my least favorite of the songs so far but I still like it and think it will grow on me. I love Ma Force. I think this is a tremendous album. I'm sorry, but in terms of beat and sound, I can see why some compare it to One Heart, but I also see where it's not. Je Nous Veux reminds me of something that could have gone on SA, later in the album. Or maybe D'elles!!!! Yeah, more like that. Anyway...I think you all get the point. There are some on here I can't spell, sorry, but that I also equally love. I will also say I like the live version of Ordainare just a tiny bit better. Studio is still good, though. I am, overall, sooooooooooooo happy with this album, I love it and cannot wait to get to know/learn it better!
