The worst thing is, I am attenting a wedding tomorrow I won't be able to really commit to listening untill Saturday evening

I'm so thrilled and thankful to have these new songs from Celine.

It's so wonderful that she's continuing on despite losing Rene so recently.

I know she still feels him with her.

She has proven how strong she is and we are very lucky to get so much from her this year. Back to Vegas so soon, the new concerts, NYC appearances, TV appearances, fashionista, Icon Award, and now a brand new French album!

And I'm thrilled that she's already starting work on her new English album.

 

This album will have plenty of treasures on it. I'm happy it will be my soundtrack for the coming months!

 

For the record, I agree that Celine doesn't need to worry about sounding current. Singing better than anybody else on the planet and simply singing those stunning, crystal clear vocals and powerful notes is all she needs to do to remain "current" and relevant. She is one of a kind.

Talking about albums, it is said that she recorded "Recovering" in Montreal this week...

 

A March release for her english one? Or again a summer release?

Why do some of you say they will have to wait a long time for the album to be delivered?

Can't you buy/download it on iTunes to listen to it on Friday?

Because I want to do it the old fashioned way But that's just me

Tell me guys- is the deluxe version worth buying- are the 2 new tracks worth it? ( not interested in the add ons like the notebook etc) Otherwise i order the standard one

Not if you bought it on Amazon, I get a digital copy the day the album gets of, in case I did not have received my real copy.

Maybe it depends on which amazon you are using also. But you can check on the website you bought it.

When I listen the making of the Plus Qu'ailleurs, the song sound like 1F4T era for me.

 

I think I'm gonna love this album... More and more people keep telling me it's like having ANDHC and 1f&4t together

Yeah, it always bothers me when she's trying to be forcibly current.

In that Amazon France 'Making Of' video, she's really fawning over how all these writers are so 'modern'. Who cares, Celine? You don't need that. You don't need to convince us you're still relevant.

'Modern' does not necessarily equate to 'good'.

Exactly. I like Celine recording modern/contemporary music but I dislike it when she falls into traps of heavily editing her voice or photos. No need for that.

Red heads have done a fairly scathing post on Facebook saying that Encore un Soir is the only truly great song on the album

It is a matter of taste but I strongly disagree. Nobody can convience me ALPHB, Je Nous Veux, Si C'etait A Refaire & Ma Faille are not good songs.

The leak is big among forum members. Do not judge based on that. The album has not leaked. No YT videos. I remind you QPVSA & LMEL had leaked on YT weeks before SA was out and the album sold 3xTimes the amount it was supposed to. EUS is very well protected and is going to slay. Do not worry...! Thanks to a generous member who made my day last night, I've been able to discover the album before going to sleep, it was great!

 

Of course there are songs that I don't like, maybe they'll grow on me, but right now my favorite definitely is "Ma faille", I'd rather see this song as a second single than "Les yeux au ciel".

 

I kinda changed my mind about ALPHB, it's a good song even though it's not my favorite.

 

Can't wait to discover the 2 bonus tracks tomorrow!!!

I'm impressed that some of you are picking up on Toutes Ces Choses. It's the only track on the album that gave me a lump in my throat, so touching and emotional. That said, I'm totally loving what I'm hearing on this album. My top five so far, but that could change when I hear the bonus tracks and process the album fully:

Listening to the album, sounds modern and more uptempo compare to SA. Thanks to the fan who shared with me. Btw, for those who are eager about the leak of the album. I have to tell that not everyone on the planet is able to get the album tomorrow. Sometimes it is all about sharing among the loyal fans. Still enjoying the album though

Absolutely worth it, A Vous is the kind of song that's always been missing from Celines French discography. They should've been included on the main album in my opinion.

Hello Everybody!!! I 've listened the full album yesterday and today and I have to say Encore Un Soir is an incredible album. The song are AMAZING. L'etoile, Ma Faille, Tu Sauras, Je nous veux and Ordinaire are the best song. I am very unhappy for Encore Un Soir Version Album. It's very long. The radio version is perfect!! Les yeux Au ciel is lovely . I believe that this song would be slowly but not is moving!!!

I am very happy for this album. Celine and her team have made a fantastic work.
