Yeah, as I suspected - after a few listens, I really like the album.

 

I've been thinking what Ma faille sounds like as I've been getting deja vu all afternoon - it kind of reminds me musically of Let Your Heart Decide.

I'm in love with this album! Like totally! After hearing SA the first time I was a little under whelmed.... This album has blown me away! Just wow.... I will be listening to these songs for a long time to come...

Tomorrow is a new day, there's a new album. I'm so excited!!!!! Then, next year a new english album. Celine recorded "Recovering" last week. Maybe that's the next english single

For those who have the physical album, are there nice liner notes by Celine? Trying to decide whether to buy it on iTunes or try to get a physical copy. As far as I can tell, it would be way more expensive to order the physical album to be shipped to the US, but I do always love her notes/messages. I hate that iTunes doesn't even have a digital booklet (for most songs, you can't even tell who wrote/produced a song )

Um, physical copy is available for ~$12 on Amazon. And their digital version does seem to include a digital booklet (or at least it's listed on the page right now).

That is not the point. I have no doubt those here - you included - have bought plenty. The point is once it's out there, it's out there. And 95% of those who find that link, who are not members of this forum, will not think twice about downloading it and completely devaluing those who try to make a living doing art. It's disrespectful, at best.

I honestly believe that she's genuinely excited and grateful for newer, younger songwriters who want to write for her. Celine is still incredible, but her career has passed it's prime. That's not a bad thing, it happens to everyone. It's nice to see her be excited about still receiving songs with fresh sounds after all of these years. I don't think she's trying to convince us of her relevance. I think she's truly just living in the glory of still being recognized by her younger peers as an artist who while still staying true to herself, can bring so much beauty to their work.
