And I love Céline's adlibs during "ma faille"...

 

The big surprise of the album is "Tu Sauras"... Probably the best song vocally speaking!

 

And as I suspected.. I can't take "Les yeux Au Ciel" out of my head.

Some imagination in the 90? Les mots qui sonnent had the same cover as unison but in colour.

 

Des mots qui sonnent comes to be originally Dion chante plamondon, which actually had an original photoshoot made for the album

And btw it was a very nice one, though most of the pictures are not included in the album.

And to top it all, they released this particular album with 3 more different covers, depending on the country. Not too bad, for an album released in 1991 eh?

At least it shows much more care in her design team than in 2016, where they keep releasing two editions of her albums -standard and deluxe- all with the same exact cover... Yeah, they're very creative these days

 

So this is how they "lacked imagination" in the early 90's, and today all they've got to do is to include a bunch of bracelets and a notebook as "bonus" contents for her "deluxe" albums... I'm impressed by that amazing effort of their minds

Just listened to the album! Stunning! Absolutely stunning! Some of those songs are so powerful, modern, out of this world!

 

Ok I don't like every song but as a whole it's perfect for me! Loving ordinarie too!

 

Gonna listen more and then review later...

I'm still exploring them, but now I already feel that "Plus Qu'Ailleurs" is going to be one of my favourites. Don't get why most of us here don't like it. It features probably the least post-processed vocals on this album and I absolutely love it.

By the way, the Making-Of Ordinaire didn't feature live vocals - what we heard there was the exact same studio version from the preview. Anyway it's amazingly bombastic and powerful
