scielle Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:13 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:13 PM Is it please possible to get a link ? I'll love you for, well, forever. I was thinking. If a waiting defender receveid an order today, will he or she be forced to wait until Friday to listen to the album ? Come on guys. Share. Please don't. What you're asking is not only illegal, but hugely insulting to anyone trying to make a living in the arts. Shame on you for encouraging and perpetuating it. Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:21 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:21 PM I can't wait any longer! Still 38 hours to go!!!  Tell us guys, how would you describe her voice in the album?crystal clear? nasal? granny voice? powerful? strained? hahaha "granny voice" lol 2 Quote

Daysleeper Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:22 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:22 PM (edited) I ordered on German Amazon both LP and Deluxe edition. And they will dispatch them on 29 August with the estimated delivery 3 - 8 September The total is 53,85€ (with postage and everything)... Is it reasonable? The only reason I am buying Deluxe version is that I could have a nice booklet inside. I don't care about the blue box, bracelets and the notebook. But if there is not big difference between standard edition and deluxe (in terms of booklet and design), I would cancel my order of Deluxe and buy a standard one in a local store. I don't want to pay extra postage for things I don't care about especially I'm kind of short with money these days. And those 3 extra songs I will have them on CD I get with vinyl anyway. Could some be so kind and help me with it so I can change my order on time before it's dispatched on Monday. Thanks. Edited August 24, 2016 at 01:24 PM by Daysleeper Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:23 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:23 PM I just remebered during her las vegas show. She makes jokes that time (acoustic medley part) She acts like an old lady humming to the Titanic song. It was so funny. Does anyone of you knows the link? I think she impersonates Rihanna too that time. Quote
Rammstein Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:24 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:24 PM (edited) Scielle, stop. I've bought EUS in 3 different versions. Like most of the people here. Do you really think a forum like this is the right place to convince people about what is good or wrong for Celine ? We all wish the best to her. So please, just don't. Javito Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:39 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:39 PM (edited) Are you reading the Red Heads reviews of the songs in Facebook? And the comments of people that already got the album? They just posted a review for the first track (Plus qu'ailleurs) and omg they're being pretty harsh Coming from a fan club which is super excited 24/7 about every move Céline does, this is worrying maybe lol Some says the album is not coherent at all, and others that it's "disappointing" after all these years And that autotune in some songs like À vous is present Edited August 24, 2016 at 01:44 PM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... Miha Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:44 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:44 PM I don't need to have the album to say that I didn't like these pictures since they were released, which was months ago You call it moaning, I call it simply an observation related to the creative skills of her team, which they're still failing at them when it comes to pictures. That's so wrong, Céline's album pictures have never been that much like this, as if she was posing permanently for fashion photographers to appear in a magazine. It's only in the last decade that Céline's team became obsessed with black and white pictures for her album covers, and photoshoots with nobackgrounds nor sceneries behind her. But there was a time when her album photoshoots were creative and had some fun behind her http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/30700000/Celine-Dion-celine-dion-30739648-500-245.jpghttp://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/23500000/Celine-Dion-These-are-Special-Times-Photoshoot-celine-dion-23532210-500-431.jpghttp://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/7300000/Celine-3-celine-dion-7396641-450-292.jpg Javi, Javi ....hush baby hush sleep tight.... ....unless you want to call upon us MIRACLE Vol.II which by the way you forgot to add as a pure example of your album-theme presentation p.s.Don't worry Javi I know what you meant to say...But I'm thankful enough Celine does new (quality)music unless like for example Shania who loses a year after yearof her talent for nothin'And besides as long as Celine does this because she loves to and not because she has to, I take it.But only in case if she goes for Miracle No.2...well...somebody shoot me 1 Quote

OMG they're being pretty harsh Some says the album is not coherent at all, and others that it's "disappointing" after all these years And that autotune in some songs like À vous is present That's why I usually don't like to read comments before I hear the album. It can create some negative expectations. Some of them said the songs by Zaho are r'n'b and that's something that really let me down. Quote

Javito Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:56 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:56 PM From RH: PLUS QU'AILLEURSFrancis Cabrel - Serge Lama This is Cabrel and Serge Lama's song that is the ball opener. The acoustic guitar, bare piece, a smooth beginning. Close your eyes, you can hear Cabrel, such phrasing is permeated by his signature. The lyrics are beautiful, the Cabrel made in poetry works, but several flaws prevent us from boarding the train, despite listening the song several times. The lack of nuances in the interpretation, the lack of subtlety in the construction of this ballad is blocking the train on its platform. Celine's voice lacks fullness and the too high intake makes her lose the lightness and leaves us in a confined space where we quickly start going in circles... A false start. Hopefully the best is yet to come! 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Popular Post LukeD Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:58 PM Popular Post Posted August 24, 2016 at 01:58 PM (edited) I as well avoid reading fan reviews before listening to the album. That said, the album includes 3 songs which I consider amazing (EUS, ALPHB, Ordinaire) and also Ma Faille which I sense will be up there too! Point is that if 4 out of 12 songs are that great, then the album will be good - at least - even if the remaining songs are average. Edited August 24, 2016 at 01:59 PM by LukeD 8 Quote

mirage Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:03 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:03 PM That's what you get when you expect too much. Same goes for the complaints about the uptempo songs and autotune. We complain about the lack of uptempo, now we have, now the album is not coherent because of that, now her voice is too much autotune. Like for real guys?!? It will never be enough. 4 Quote
LukeD Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:05 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:05 PM (edited) Judging by its preview PQA sounded like a grower. Probably a boring but quality song! mairtin Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:08 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:08 PM I'm ignoring reviews. I will judge for myself but know I will love the whole album. I am giving up hope of hearing any snippets and just wait until tomorrow night. 1 Quote

Autotune and Celine Dion should not be used in the same sentence. What they did to her voice in A Vous is pathetic... on top of being unecessary. And I'm not even complaining right now. I feel like I'm saying the sky is blue. It's such a fact that Celine needs no autotune and that it kills the pureness of her voice. Edited August 24, 2016 at 02:10 PM by LukeD 2 Quote
Peppercorn1991 Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:12 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:12 PM Celine may not need auto tune but every current artist uses it and it's become a sound people in general expect! $P!K& Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:42 PM Posted August 24, 2016 at 02:42 PM So, 5 songs were produced by Humberto Gatica / Scott Price,3 songs were produced by Silvio Lisbonne,3 songs were produced by Zaho / Ludovic Carquet / Marie-Louise Therry,2 songs were produced by Jacques Veneruso, the others produced 1 song. THIS. I REALLY HATE THIS. It's an album. It should be the same producer for all songs. Quote
