I ordered on German Amazon both LP and Deluxe edition. And they will dispatch them on 29 August with the estimated delivery 3 - 8 September

The total is 53,85€ (with postage and everything)... Is it reasonable?

 

The only reason I am buying Deluxe version is that I could have a nice booklet inside. I don't care about the blue box, bracelets and the notebook. But if there is not big difference between standard edition and deluxe (in terms of booklet and design), I would cancel my order of Deluxe and buy a standard one in a local store. I don't want to pay extra postage for things I don't care about especially I'm kind of short with money these days. And those 3 extra songs I will have them on CD I get with vinyl anyway. Could some be so kind and help me with it so I can change my order on time before it's dispatched on Monday. Thanks.

Are you reading the Red Heads reviews of the songs in Facebook? And the comments of people that already got the album? They just posted a review for the first track (Plus qu'ailleurs) and omg they're being pretty harsh Coming from a fan club which is super excited 24/7 about every move Céline does, this is worrying maybe lol

 

Some says the album is not coherent at all, and others that it's "disappointing" after all these years And that autotune in some songs like À vous is present

That's so wrong, Céline's album pictures have never been that much like this, as if she was posing permanently for fashion photographers to appear in a magazine. It's only in the last decade that Céline's team became obsessed with black and white pictures for her album covers, and photoshoots with no

backgrounds nor sceneries behind her. But there was a time when her album photoshoots were creative and had some fun behind her

The reviews from the fans for the time are pretty bad... will see, maybe after few listenings, it could change

Miracle is just another in-studio photoshoot, with a plain wall behind her... The only added element is that there she's joined by a baby , but apart from that, no scenery again.

That's why I usually don't like to read comments before I hear the album. It can create some negative expectations. Some of them said the songs by Zaho are r'n'b and that's something that really let me down.

Francis Cabrel - Serge Lama

 

This is Cabrel and Serge Lama's song that is the ball opener. The acoustic guitar, bare piece, a smooth beginning. Close your eyes, you can hear Cabrel, such phrasing is permeated by his signature. The lyrics are beautiful, the Cabrel made in poetry works, but several flaws prevent us from boarding the train, despite listening the song several times. The lack of nuances in the interpretation, the lack of subtlety in the construction of this ballad is blocking the train on its platform. Celine's voice lacks fullness and the too high intake makes her lose the lightness and leaves us in a confined space where we quickly start going in circles... A false start.

 

Hopefully the best is yet to come!

I as well avoid reading fan reviews before listening to the album. That said, the album includes 3 songs which I consider amazing (EUS, ALPHB, Ordinaire) and also Ma Faille which I sense will be up there too! 3 songs were produced by Zaho / Ludovic Carquet / Marie-Louise Therry,

2 songs were produced by Jacques Veneruso,

the others produced 1 song.

 

THIS. I REALLY HATE THIS. It's an album. It should be the same producer for all songs.
