I don't know about the booklet in de standard edition. I know the booklet in the Deluxe edition doesn't have staples but it's thicker and glued. Also the booklet isn't 12x12cm but some wider. So it doesn't suit in a nornal cd case. In that way it have to be different I think. If the pages are the same, more pages, other pictures... I really don't know.

That's interesting! I really can't wait now, the standard edition arrives at my house Friday!

Why hasn't this leaked? I dont care for the fans who say it will hurt sales.... That's rubbish! Everyone here will have purchased the deluxe& LP if not more.... Can't believe 3 days before the hardcore fans cannot listen!

I don't know why people want the album to leak. Yes, we will buy the album either way but general public? no. So, imo it's good that finally there is no major leak.

 

It's weird that the official site didn't offer snippets of every song but well... I'm not listening to anything so I don't care. Maybe they are occupied with the tour and that's the reason. 2 more days we'll survive.

Lol I love how some here are soooooo impatient for like just 2/3 days more hahaha.

 

Funny how each of us has his own "ritual"

 

I just want to hear them from the cd, getting the album, open it, see the booklet, put the disc in the player, volume 100, and just sit and listen.

 

And some of you are just as happy with a leak... :-)

Totally agreed. Being part of a fans community is all about sharing to me. Not about keeping a file everybody wants on a hard drive.

 

We all care about sales. We all are warned about leak dangers. That's just not the point.

 

The point is we just all are hardcore fans who deserve the small privilege to be part of the first listeners.

the booklet in the deluxe version looks different to me, then what I saw on the listening-party. There was just a booklet, without space to place a disc in.. In this version it looks like they put the regular cd version in the box.

OMG just look how that precious vinyl looks I think that now makes up for 17 years without any vinyl releases (since FIY) and this being the first ever in a gatefold sleeve! :in_love: Not bad for a singer with more than 30 albums in the market, 35 years of career and sales of 230 million albums!

 

Now imagine all her previous albums released that way, in that delicious gatefold sleeve (ANDHC, FIY, All The Way...)

That's why I counted 17 years, from FIY, her last vinyl release until LMBTL in 2013 which was her first one after 17 years without any album released on that format

Létoile , the lyrics are a bit like Le petit bonheur de Felix Leclerc, i doubt it will be as good. And reading Le bonheur en face , it is complete, Those songs are inspired by Le petit bonheur, i would put my hand in the fire.

 

the songs by Marc dupre are very simple , very québécois. not in a bad way.

I am going to buy the Standard Edition of the album. Three reasons in particular helped me make up my mind:

 

1.A La Plus Haute Branche is the perfect song to close the album.

 

2.The remastered version of Trois Heures Vingt adds nothing to the original recording which I have known and loved for years.

 

3.I refuse to buy an album in which A La Plus Haute Branche is followed by A Vous. No coherence to be found, just throwing songs in the most random way.
