Apparently, fans are planning on listening to Courage(song) enough to get it on charts back or just to increase the views on streaming platforms.

Nice idea, but a complete waste of time…unlike many other artists Céline has so many different groups of fans who will not want to work together on one specific project unfortunately due to their own egos/belief's, as we have seen time and time again over the years.

 

Other artists can achieve this with ease as they have one massive group of fans who are happy to work together.

I love COURAGE album, but not my favorite, the same as EUS

 

COURAGE has too many songs, the bonus on the deluxe version are better than many songs on the standard version

 

Is missing some kind of concept/ connection between the songs.

FOMO is a good song, but should have been a bonus, like Ashes and Recovering.

Might be, but look, Celine didn't recorded the song(I am not talking about the album right now), because it was a hit material. But just because it was a touching to her. Same with other songs of the album like FTLTIL, Boundaries, I will be stronger, Falling In Love Again, The Hard Way etc.,

 

And as a side note, don't get offended, but just because of people like you, this album and the song went flop. And lazy #ss fans are so lazy that they don't even want to help anyone getting this song back on charts.

 

I was reading many articles, and fans alone can bring the song in Top 100. Do you even know the power we hold, lazy fans?

Lazy fans? Ive supported Céline non stop since 1996 and haven't given up yet. I was buying CD singles and watching TV shows when you were just a twinkle in you're father's eye. And I waited for 2 years for her 2002 return while you were shitting your pants. How about you? I have the right to not like an album. How about you?

She has been in vegas for almost 20 years, American people can take easily a trip to vegas.

The United States is a giant country and many people cannot afford to cross the country and spend hundreds of dollars on airfare and hotels to just see Celine. I don't know how you consider it was a failure. Didn't she sell out for the most part? EDIT: if you look at it, she sold out almost all of those shows that she played. How is that not a success? I think she only started in the United States because she knew that in a year she would be back in Vegas. She had already toured in Europe a few times during the last Vegas show. And Canada.

 

Personally my last time seeing her Vegas show was in 2013. After she changed the format to the same old-same old, I didn't want to travel all that way to see that. So I went to Montreal in 2016 to see an amazing show.

 

You are right on 100% about the 2 songs part!

Generally those that take coaches are carrying weed or are criminals here. It's not considered safe. Train takes forever to cross the country there. There isn't high speed rail and it almost costs as much to fly. The US has the worst amount of paid time off in the free world and you're not going to find people who can take off a week to take a bus or train cross the country. You're taking European ideas and putting them on a country that isn't as travel-able. Plus so many people here never leave their state. Like Brits who never leave the island.

Yeah, taking the train (Amtrack) is 5 times as expensive as flying. I’ve looked into it as an alternative because I hate flying. But I can barely afford the flight (after what I had to shell out for tickets) Amtrack is way out of reach.

Well you're not wrong about that! I remember when we heard the live streams of the first concert I was so excited that she started with IACBTMN and everything was great until after IYAMT. Then it became the same tired show.

To me the TCWT stage was so boring. It was in the round so there was virtually nothing they could do projection-wise. There were some dancers but, other than Eyes On Me, I didn't think they were used effectively. CWT was so much more enjoyable for me than TCWT. I know I'm in the minority but I love the setlist for CWT. I've watched it a bazillion times. The TCWT tour bores me when I try to watch the DVD - I never make it very far. Her voice isn't great, she lip-synched so much of the show. The visuals for CWT were amazing and so creative. I can understand the disappointment in her not singing many songs from Courage. But when I saw Cher in 2019, it was the same thing. A greatest hits concert with only 2 new songs from her latest album. That's just what legacy artists do - they know people come for the hits.

And it really was a good thing to start in the US. Being in vegas all the time isn't the same in the US as when she is in France and she is doing shows in paris so for all the places the courage world tour visited so far, it's like that she wasn't there since 2008/2009 or even longer. In europe and asia she was in the couple of last years so it would have been kind of strange to start the tour there. Africa or south america deserves it on the first place but then comes the US. I hope with that world tour she will do her first real world tour while visiting all five continets! Celine fans all around the world deserve to see her

And the fact that the album was hacked 2 weeks before the release date also did great damage. This -"fan" forum here has contributed a lot to this disaster.

Well it doesn't makes sense to argue about preferences (to me the first two songs are one of the very best songs on the album, I love the very whole album all the way to soul really a lot), but I agree with your last point. When the album was leaked, I could understand the excitement because we were all so eager to hear the new tracks that it was really hard to wait 2 weeks more but I didn't listen to it because I thought we are harming Celine's views on the songs and we really did with that. Of course, if we all had waited until the release date, the album wouldn't have millions of streams more, but more for sure which we would be all happy about I think.

She got sick. That forced her to reschedule canceled dates during the month that had been set aside for her to do promo when the album was released. How quickly we forget!
