"Courage" album - Official Topic

Artists aren't always involved when fans take the initiative and get their songs or albums back in the charts. Fans have often done this suddenly, as a surprise, or from the bottom up.

 

Celine isn't into promoting herself to the best of her ability, obviously, that doesn't mean her fans can't get her back in the charts. In theory, at least. Everytime her fans try to organise something,the "no, no, no!" crowd kicks up. It's akin to NIMBYism.|

 

I applaud the Courage Project.

Exactly and I’m just explaining why they’re doing it and yet you gave me an attitude. If you really don’t want to be part of it then don’t.

 

Don’t use excuses like “why would i pay subscriptions blah blah” not everyone here buys anymore a physical cd like me that’s why we transferred to streaming and since we are in a streaming era. This is one way we can support her music more.

Ok, let’s go back to my original post that begins with “Good luck to you all.” Now, I understand that reading something on the internet means the reader can’t put whatever emphasis/tone on it that they want. My intention was a true wish for success with the project. I then went on to state how I don’t understand streaming (never will - kind of like the stock market - dumbest system ever invented!) But, just like Say Yes Campaign - it’s not something in which I’ll participate but I can appreciate all the hard work that the organizers have put into it and sincerely applaud their efforts.

If I want to share it to my friends I can just post it on stories via instagram. Now, with the updated instagram it has now music with lyrics. I just posted 3 songs from Courage album (Courage, Imperfections, Lying Down) and That’s the way it is. And they can just click the lyrics for them to listen the whole song. It’s amazing

I’ve made it very clear before that 1) I have no interest in seeing these concerts released when I can watch them all on YouTube and 2) I think the campaign has little chance of working. That’s what I meant when I said I didn’t want to participate. As I’ve also made it clear, for those who desire such things, I applaud your efforts and hard work creating videos and packages to send to management, etc.

Wow..I wonder if this would be recorded again by Celine? Because she once said that these songs are like her baby and she got so many songs that they are enough for her next 4 albums, and she might use them if the producers agreed.

What do you mean by recording it again? Recording the courage song again? I don’t think so but for the songs that she recorded that not was included in the album maybe released on the next album. Maybe she recorded already some songs and some are just waiting to be sing by her in the future

I think it’s good. This song somewhat reminds me of Adele. They should have included this song. I mean, it sounds different. She haven’t recorded any songs like this kind of style. I will exchange this with “Say Yes”

 

Imagine if this song was part of Courage and it was included for her Residency Show. My gosh! I think the visuals will be amazing (but if they will make it into orchestra- it will ruin the song)

Courage is by far her most mature album. It's not all lovey dovey like she used to do.
