WTF is that? Are these people serious? Is there no budget to produce some proper behind the scenes clips like they did in the past? This looks like amateur work using material filmed with a mobile phone. Filming her from behind drinking and standing there for most of the time. WTF? And I thought the LMBTL clips were too short, but man, this crap is the worst material we've ever gotten. Yes, there are behind the scenes clips, but they are ridiculous. The fact that the official music video for My Heart Will Go On, Celine's by far most succesfull and recognizable song, has not been uploaded to her VEVO account, demonstrates how braindead her team is. :unsure:

 

I wonder how many views that video would have by now if they uploaded it before 2010. I remember there was MHWGO on an unofficial third party account with over 100 million views, but then it was taken down.

 

I just realized her YouTube page is also missing the music video for “Je danse dans ma tete,” and the official audio for “Ain’t Gonna Look The Other Way.” The lack of caring amongst her team members is astounding.

A causual fan who likes to experiment with video montage would make a much better job with that footage then her "professional" team. The LMBTL recording clips were pure gold compared to this s***.

 

I just re-watched it and it's just embarrassing... As a fan I'm truly pissed and disappointed, but well, they don't care anyway so why wasting energy on being pissed at that ...

They’ve always been in it for the money - Celine included. I guess fans are just now waking up to this. Once someone owns tens of thousands of pairs of shoes...that’s a major sign that their first and foremost objective is making an obscene amount of money. Celine first admitted to having all those shoes on Oprah almost 20 years ago. Her and her team being in it for the money is nothing new.

They needed investors for Vegas and Chrysler gave them a ton of money for Celine to record "I Drove All Night." Back then, artists very rarely released one-off singles, so they had to come up with a new album. They recycled Have You Ever Been In Love and put the ballad version of Sorry For Love on it just to pad out an album of not-good-enough-to-be-released-on-A-New-Day-Has-Come filler tracks. There are other examples we could come up with if we thought long enough. They've always known the die-hard fans will buy up anything she releases and buy tickets to any tour she does.

That more than likely has nothing to do with Rene's passing. DVDs of concerts don't make money anymore. Rene was a smart businessman - he wouldn't have released those tours either. The only way we'll see a Celine concert will be via a streaming service like Netflix.

of course but these artists also do it for the art of it and are on their A game with releases, promotion, things they release on youtube and such. since 2017 celine and her team lost all interest in that it seems.

It's not like the old days when we got to see actual footage from the sessions -- BUT I'm thankful to have these! She looks so confident and FIERCE in the video. I hope they try to build some momentum for once! And keep posting only COURAGE related content for a while. It will remind casual fans to go check out her brand new music. It's also good that her team is giving credit to /celebrating the other folks who worked on these great tracks.

 

In a few days, the music world will be all about GAGA's new album. Celine's team should release a music video NOW. There are so many songs are COURAGE that would bring people comfort in these strange times.

And I still think that with a good video, with Celine dancing unpretentiously, in a funny-goofy way, with some celebrities doing the same, could be a hit (not #1 hit, but like Ashes).

I love goofy songs. Heck, my name here is named after “Super Love.” I also love “Listen To The Magic Man.” However, any song that brings in the insipid slang term, “Belieber,” is automatic crap to me. I’m glad you enjoy it, though.

Laziness is such a common theme in the posts of those who complain. I think we need to re-visit the term keeping an open mind.

 

Those of you who call Celine lazy - have you ever considered that it is maybe OK for humans to be lazy? Maybe we are naturally predisposed to laziness? Maybe the breakneck pace Celine used to work at was not natural? Maybe she SHOULD be slowing down after all? Give these a think.

 

Now please consider where your critiques are coming from. Maybe it is the hectic pace of our lives that makes you condemn the decision of an artist to slow down? Maybe we are used to think that our lives have meaning only when we are working, competing, earning money?

 

Finally, please take a moment to consider... would YOU be working if you were rich and did not need to work?

Just saw the "clip" they uploaded for NW, I'm not sure if she has once again fur on her

This look once again like something that was taken out of a Power point presentation,

why would anyone even want to share it?

 

Her commercials have creative aspects but when it comes down to her own work, nothing, like

she forgot why she is even doing what she does. Why to put such mediocre videos out there

with this never ending dubbing.

 

Again, I stopped waiting to get something valuable

from her team, but it just sad to see it.

Maybe their goal was not a behind the scenes look, and rather just some facts about the song, it’s writers and producers? Maybe their initiative is to show the songs to the public and to give credit to the people who made this album happen.

First, I'm laughing that she thinks anyone in the clubs actually heard that song in any form....but also, it's for sure not gonna happen without promotion!

Everybody here knows I rarely cut Celine and her team any slack, but I think what happened with SLS actually had nothing to do with poor handling. It was during this era Rene’s cancer returned, and we all know the rest of that story. I’m willing to bet SLS was planned to be part of the Asian tour, as well as made into a single with remixes. Unfortunately, that never happened. I hope she’ll revisit the song one day beyond singing one line from it during an interview.
