If we want to support Celine with this new album, streaming the whole album will help.

Ah. I don’t stream anything. I buy it and that means I own it and can listen to it wherever and however I want offline.

Let me start off by saying how happy I am that all of these songs *seem to be* originals. That being said, I did have my hopes for an English version of « Encore un soir » — like how we got ITWIT/IDK/Fly on FIY and JTE on OH.

That song is one of her best French singles in the recent era, the lyrics are really powerful, and it fits the mood of Courage. But, since that’s not happening, I can only hope the new songs are even better!!!

At 0:50 could be a snippet of Nobody's Watching

Right in front of you, right in front of me! We were looking but somehow, some way we couldn’t see...

How does what I do affect you in any way? Someone above asked how we'd all approach listening to the album. Personally, I like to listen to an album from start to finish. It's MY preference. There's no need to roll your eyes or smack your head. Instead, why not just offer up the way you're going to approach listening to the album?

Some people, really...need to mind their own f****** business.

It doesn't affect me at all. It's just that reading what you said, after all the many years we've been waiting for new music, is the most shocking and perplexing thing I've read.

So far I've only seen very positive reactions and comments of fans being excited with the fact that we are finally receiving a long album to listen to. So far your comment must be the first one I've seen of someone "complaining" that 20 songs are too much songs. We've been dreaming of at least a 15/16 tracklist (like her best-selling albums had), we've dreamed about bonus tracks for Japan, but never in out best dreams we thought we could get an album with 20 tracks on one disc. It will be the first time indeed. And now you said it's "too much" for you, almost like a letdown or a complaint. Sorry but... it's shocking to say the least

And regarding my way to listen to this album... I'll book 80 minutes with no interruptions to listen to this album in its entirety, when I have the 20-track edition in my hands :in_love: That's the only way for me, and that will be the way as long as I have the time and the physical CD on my hands.

And should I have not 80 minutes to play the entire album, I'll just listen to whatever tracks are my favourites or I'll just play the suffle/random mode :-D But I'll never sacrifice and split the album in 12 tracks and leave the remaining 8 for the coming months, as if this was rationing a cake in the fridge: what if you would never be able to listen to the remaining 8 tracks you say, for whatever reason? You know, today we are here. Tomorrow, nobody knows.

Just enjoy the album when it's given to you, and treat yourself. This is not a punishment and restraining yourself from eating while on a diet  This is just music, it's a pleasure, and a healthy one :bye1:

I don’t know. You sound awfully concerned to me about how I’m going to listen to the album. I’ll let you do it your way. Please give me the courtesy of doing it mine. You don’t have to understand it. You mean nothing to me. You ARE nothing to me. You have no power here. Be gone. Before somebody drops a house on you.

Oh dear... a bit oversensitive reaction now? Did I got to your nerves in some way? :shifty: It's a relief to know, I'm not here to mean anything to you, nor to be anything to you, nor to have any power over you :whee:

No, you’re here to be an online troll and a bully. And bullies never like it when someone push back against them.

And yes, you get on my nerves. You get on EVERYONE’s nerves. It’s like you thrive on it. Fortunately, I’ve remembered how to use the block feature.

Please, there is no need to go with personal attacks.

Everyone has their own perspective way of seeing things

and everyone has a place to be here, that's what that enrich

this place  So let's keep it nice and easy

since Boss is coming back in two days and the new album is right on the corner.

So don't be afraid to just say "no, I didn't like FOMO", for whatever reason. Don't be silenced for the stupid mood that some amensayers to everything Celine does have brought to this forum :thumbsup2: :bye1:

You keep referring to people you do not like and who do not like you to comments that are not directed to them. And this reference could be avoided. It is as if you are trying to provoke a response and ignite an argument. IMO this does not contribute to the mood of the forum - you seem to be concerned with that. Hence my post.

I will buy the Standard Edition cause to me this is the actual album. I always treat songs on Deluxe Editions as bonus tracks that do not necessarily contribute to the record's coherence. Just considering the titles, Perfect Goodbye seems like a more appropriate closing song than The Hard Way. I also find 20 songs too much for an album, whereas 16 songs remind me of Celine's blockbusters, FIY, LTAL, TAST, ATW.

I will be listening to the Deluxe Edition songs on YouTube though.

This thought just popped in my head but “lovers never die” could be PMLALS cause they say love songs are timeless and “never go out of style or never die” and when you “play” them, there still “alive” in a sense. Maybe just guessing

I'm the same way. I buy my music. While streaming is great as you have all music at your fingertips and even download to listen offline, but as soon as you unsubscribe it's all gone. Buying it means it's yours and then don't have to pay each month to listen to what you want.

Well I do both, the music that i love I buy but i stream them first, and those, together with all my music not available on streaming or ripped from my old CDs are blended together on apple music in the cloud. I've already bought the Deluxe version on iTunes so when the time comes I think I'm going straight to the new songs first, skipping the ones I've already heard.

Her energy feels so demure here. She must have been starting to feel sick.

Perhaps... I’m sure that was a long, exhausting day for her. But that strange look she gave is because she’s thinking of how to respond. She clearly didn’t want to confirm or deny it, but also she might be thinking “that’s not the actual title”

Folks, if the song called by us "Play me like a lovesong" isn't on the album, there`s a big chance it will be included on the next one. I want this song on the courage album as much as you do, but if it's not there this time, the chances are very big that it will be on the next album. She said that she recorded so many gems and she can't include all of them in the courage album. But I'm sure it will be on the next album, if it's not included on the courage :) ;)

We don’t know the actual name of the song and we don’t know if it’s a gem we only heard 30 seconds of it.
