See you there! :rockinbanana:

I'm also excited for november for many reasons, I'll be far from home because of work, and won't be able (I guess) to get the physical album on time, but spotify will be enough by then. I'll be working while listening to the new music

Guys don't start with that kind of stuff about Liz. She co-wrote Courage (lyrics) so that alone is enough to show her credentials. Edited by Xpresso

I hope they chose the best songs from the most talented artists instead of just giving friends the job.

Yeah... that's often been the case in Celine-land, it seems. But it's her business, her name on it, her call. She does what works for her and hires people she trusts. I get that.

I’m not hating on Liz, just saying she has a big role on this album and I hope her songs are actually good. I liked “Courage”, but not “FOMO”.

If Liz wasn't talented, she wouldn't be under Dave's management in the first place, and she certainly wouldn't have landed so many songs on Celine's album. "Friends" don't necessarily get songs on a Celine album... Edited by Xpresso

I think we all know Sia can write Celine basically any song and she’ll cut it, good or not lol

If Adele offered her any songs written by her, we’d have them lol.

Friends maybe, maybe not... but musical role models defiantly.

Well, it all started with Ce n'était qu'un rêve...so there's that :P

As thrilled as I am that we’re getting a deluxe edition with 20 songs - that’s just too much for me. When I first hear a Celine album, I like to sit down and play it beginning to end. So what I’ll probably do is make a playlist with the first 12 songs and consider that my Courage album. I’ll listen to that throughout the holiday season and really live those 12 tracks. Then, when the new year comes, I’ll listen to the final 8 tracks and consider it an EP: Courage Part 2.

So far, I like all 4 songs

FOMO is light and simple - a perfect statement for her as Vegas ended and she went out to do a giant tour without Rene for the first time.

LD has a great hook/chorus and Celine sounds fantastic on it. It’s the most radio friendly of the 4 tracks I’ve heard thus far, I think, because it sounds most like what the general public thinks of when they think “Celine” yet it sounds current.

C almost makes me cry. It’s a beautiful song. Well written and well sung. I really feel how much she misses Rene in this.

I is a nice mid-tempo song. It has a nice beat to it and the lyrics are meaningful.

If all of the other songs are going to be of this quality, I’m gonna be loving this album!!

Guys, let’s not judge Liz until we hear all the tracks lol maybe it’s a good thing that there is one dominant writer on this album to deliver a theme and coherence Edited by ryba

And by the way, I remember that some time ago I read on this forum that there was a (french?) interview with a song writer that was hired for the new album and who was talking about how she sits down in a caffee to write songs for Celine. Was that Liz?

Well both songs Sia gave Celine were amazing. Both were modern and amazingly produced. And if what we heard in one of those videos indeed was a snipper of Baby, it sounded cool too!

I loved FOMO in that promo video, but the actual song was a bit of dissapoinment. Some part sounded dated :pinch:

But did Liz write only lyrics? Or did she compose the music? I like the lyrics for Courage more than its music (at least choruses).

I actually prefer the lyrics to be written by people who know her?

The FOMO lyric may be corny/generic, but Céline obviously connects to it. Which can't be said for a lot of her English material tbh.

Yep, it's always been a family business, and that clearly served her well.

Once you get to that level of success it must be incredibly difficult to find people you can truly trust, who aren't in it just to use you, so it makes perfect sense.

Wow that Liz Rodriguez co-wrote 5 of these songs... I hope they are better than FOMO, which to me isn’t anything special.

I too noticed Liz Rodriguez being dominating this tracklist, and I was kind of surprised. For an album that Celine declares she has received more than 50 songs, she certainly has repeated the same names in quite a bunch of songs with this Lis Rodriguez. She's better have delivered a better job than with FOMO, because... I too don't like that song much

And I find interesting fans are now opening up about FOMO saying without objections that they don't like the song that much. Well I didn't like it much from the start. Why did you take so long to speak up? Guys, not because it's her first single in years, you have to swallow it like a pill and say you love it. Be sincere. Be free to speak up your mind about what you like and what you don't. The first impression is usually the most sincere.

So don't be afraid to just say "no, I didn't like FOMO", for whatever reason. Don't be silenced for the stupid mood that some amensayers to everything Celine does have brought to this forum :thumbsup2: :bye1:

So, when you get the album are you going to listen to all the songs in the regular order? Or are you jumping to any specific song(s)?
I listen to all new albums from beginning to end several times. Once albums get older I then will out several different artists together and at that point shuffle.

Oh dear... seriously??? You must be joking. Nobody forces you to listen the album in full  (actually nobody forces you to buy a whole album today).

Well, just split the album in 10 songs and save the remaining 10 songs for the next years, when maybe there's no new music from Celine in another 6 long years. Maybe you'll need them then, and then you can build your one next Celine English album under your convenience, form and wishes...

Some people, really... :wtf:

Well, seeing as she has written a lot for Eminiem, she clearly works across genres. So I just hope that those other Elofsson/ Rodrigues songs aren't FOMO, Part II...

I don’t hate FOMO, and I don’t like it either, for me it’s forgettable and like 12-15 years too late. If she’s going to do EDM then do it right, I’d be all for that. However, this watered down version of EDM goes nowhere for me....even so, when they first released the song I still think it’s better than some of the last releases prior... I do like “Ashes” tho.... better than FOMO but still I wasn’t jumping for joy. I will admit that tho, all three of the new songs from the new album have me optimistic. “Imperfections” is fresh, modern and simple with a great message. “Courage” is simple yet commanding, and “Lying Down” is better than FOMO but not my favorite.

How does what I do affect you in any way? Someone above asked how we’d all approach listening to the album. Personally, I like to listen to an album from start to finish. It’s MY preference. There’s no need to roll your eyes or smack your head. Instead, why not just offer up the way you’re going to approach listening to the album?

Some people, really...need to mind their own f****** business.

Tbh you did shock me with how you plan to listen to this album. No disrespect it’s up to you.... I certainly won’t be doing that though. Just imagine if the albums gems are towards the end?

I’m torn...I think I’m gonna just hit play and play the album straight through in order from 1-20! I took the Thursday and Friday off so I can enjoy it as soon as it’s released at midnight and listen to it all day friday haha

the production of FOMO sounds quite cheap in my opinion. It should have been produced by David Guetta. He would be the right guy for it! Edited by ryba

Even if we download the album or buy the CD, we should stream it on Spotify too. Celine needs Spotify help! :D

And that’s fine to be shocked that someone’s behavior/way of doing things doesn’t match your own. We’re all different and we all do things differently. I take umbrage when I’m belittled or made fun because of the way way I like to do things. That’s not cool.

If we want to support Celine with this new album, streaming the whole album will help.

You know it's actually cool, to save some of the tracks and hearing them

on other occasion so some of the curiosity and exicetment is kept as well.

Normally it take how long for platform to preview 55 sec all songs before it release? I remembered LMBTL was leaked amongst the forum or fans before it actual release date.
