Hope its a duet with celine hehehehe Greg Kuristin is one of Adele's biggest writers soo maybe he arranged a duet for them I am hoping how great would it be if sia wrote the duet could be that heart of glass or baby is a duet... I do hope soo!!! Really would like them to have a duet and then drop albums same time that would mean huge for celine and adele... Seriously guys, most of you assumed it would be called “Play Me

Like A Love Song”, but that was never (officially) mentioned anywhere. Just like “Baby” being the 1st single. People yell one thing and everyone believes it and and everyone just posts it as if it’s true. Exactly like journalism these days.

How do you know? That's just an excerpt of the lyrics. PMLALS as a title was mere conjecture by people here / elsewhere on social media. Did anyone ever find it registered as such?

I remember pre-ordering the Japanese version and I was so excited about those bonus tracks. They didn't disappoint.

 

Always I hear the TC album putting MTMH and TRIGO in the place of ASFY and Skies Of L.A.

To me this is a perfect edition of that album

 

My tracklist for TC is still this in my iTunes after all these years. It almost feels official this way now since I've kept it for over 10 years, haha!

I am as shocked as you are my friend and with the deluxe tracklist now out it sure looks like 100% new songs.

 

Me too. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. All new songs, no covers or duets. Perfect!

 

Sidenote, I bet "Play Me Like A Lovesong" is still (probably) on the regular version of the album, just under a new name.

100% not. The number of tickets sold won't be equal to the album copies redeemed. First of all, the redeem isn't automatic,a lot of people won't even bother/ don't know about it. And second of all, there's one copy with each ticket order, so a bunch of tickets will get one copy if they were bought together. Think in the range of 200/300k. Hopefully she can manage more but it's not a given

I'm not into numbers, being 1 on the charts or analysing Sony's strategy anymore that much but if it is true that Sony plans to realise Adele and Celine's material at one weak interval, that just sounds crazy for me. No just crazy but surrealist, it would scream sabotage.

 

From a pure business and strategy point of view, nothing, absolutly nothing can explain that, there will be absolutly no benefits for Celine nor Sony, we know, everyone knows that when Adele will realise her new music, during let's say one month, she will cannibalize all the news, not just in the music or pop universe, but like the whole thing: Impeachment and Syria war will be just put on the back burner for few weeks. I'm not exagerating that much.

 

It's like in a snap of a finger, killing 3 of 4 years of momentum. Just preventing her to present her work in a normal environnent. It's unfair and unbilievable even in a pure business point of view for Sony. Who can take this decision in a corporate way honestly ? Can someone explain me some potential benefits for Sony, Celine or even Adele ? I do not get it at all.

 

Not even a duet with Adele could explain that. Eventually, it will make things a bit less worse, just that.

I disagree. Celine is on the cusp of her Celinassance being full force...she’s performed on big events and stages and caught the culture world’s eye since her last release...and people know it’s her first release without Rene.

 

She is a media darling, and this will probably be her last great epic vocal album...and yet her promo team//Sony stinks beyond compare. Such shame!!!!

I guess you refer to LTAL? Biggest in sales? Yes. Greatest album? I don't think so. Biggest in sales doesn't mean greatest

 

LTAL got her the biggest sales to a great extent because of MHWGO and the smash Titanic single included there, in the middle of a boom with a blockbuster movie. But not because it's one of her greatest albums. It's full of random songs, covers coming out of nowhere and songs that don't fit at all with the others. But that's just my opinion.
