What if “I Will Be Stronger” is the “All By Myself” of the decade?

And instead of “anymore” the high note would be: “forevermoooooore”

I hope she slays long never ending high notes in this album 😍

Miracle was a concept album too. Okay it was boring and lame, but still.

And we can't be sure there's no cover: maybe she covered unknown songs - like she did for Falling into you (song) and It's all coming back.

Also, why are people happy there's no duet? It would still be a Celine brand new song.

So what's the problem? Don't you love Tell Him or J'irai où tu iras?

I never really understood the whole "deluxe" version, too. I think it's just to sell the cd with a higher cost without it costing that much more to produce. And for collectors. I really don't see people paying twenty bucks for 4 songs if they had the 16 others for free with the concert tickets.

Miracle was a concept album too. Okay it was boring and lame, but still.

It's not even "concept album" per se, it's more a "project", and to be precise, a side project that belongs to one major project which is a book. The Miracle music CD was released as an extra to accompany what was the primarily, book project of photographs by Anne Geddes.

Still, it has some very nice songs in it, but I can't consider it as a "music album" like TCOML or ANDHC because Miracle songs were just an excuse to illustrate musically what was the main idea of Anne Geddes photos of Celine posing with babies :pinch:

After all, I think the song "Miracle" had been waiting its time to be released in 2004 to be part of this project, but it was recorded way before 2004... Her voice it's beautiful here and doesn't sound like her flat, nasal voice she has in the rest of the new songs.

Also, why are people happy there's no duet? It would still be a Celine brand new song.

People is hungry of Celine new songs in English and just Celine. No decorations around. It's been 6 long years waiting for this album, so it's just normal most fans are demanding only Celine's voice in the album. And it's so deserved, we've had enough duets and collaborations for many years and now it's time for Celine and only Celine's name to shine with this comeback album, no more elements distracting the attention now :)

<raises hand> I’ve already preordered the deluxe digital album even though I’m getting 4 different copies of the standard CD from all the different shows I’m seeing. But it’s not just about the 4 extra songs; it’s about having the 3 songs NOW as well as automatically having it on the day of release rather than waiting for it to arrive in the mail. (Plus, I don’t have any way to add a physical CD to my computer anymore - there’s no disc drive in either of our laptops.)

Sorry, Celine, but I'm only getting a deluxe digital one. I don't have too much money to spend or place on my shelves to occupy.

Celine says she's fine with that. And thank you. :P

yeah, there is absolutely no reason for me to buy the standard edition either. I’m just going to get the deluxe edition. If they were smart, they would offer an extra for the standard edition only (like a dvd with the recording sessions) and for the deluxe 4 more songs and an extra booklet with pics (like for Delles) + a dvd with a couple of songs from the tour (like they did back in 2007 for TC). Then it would make perfect sense to buy 2 editions and I wouldn’t even think about whether or not I should get two Edited by ryba

She also had a album called “Heart Of Glass” wonder if that song is a cover... :hmm:

There’s no way we get all originals, I’m sure something is a cover.

No. Celine's Heart of Glass is written by Sia & Greg Kurstin.

So, when you get the album are you going to listen to all the songs in the regular order? Or are you jumping to any specific song(s)?

If I listen to a whole album I have to listen in order- can’t shuffle as would just not be right!! Imagine listening to If That’s What It Takes before IACBTMN...! Madness.

I happen to like her voice on Miracle. My Precious One, In Some Small Way, What a Wonderful World, Une Chanson Douce. The whole production was more relaxed than her previous albums in English. Yes, some of the songs are dangerously cheesy. But it was a noteworthy experiment in her career.

Wow that Liz Rodriguez co-wrote 5 of these songs... I hope they are better than FOMO, which to me isn’t anything special.

But she's also on Courage which is quite different

She mainly writes lyrics. She's not responsible for the music/production.

At the end it's about the finished product, deep/complex lyrics for a song like FOMO just wouldn't make it, on the other hand a song like Courage just shows Liz Rodriguez can be versatile enough to deliver a interesting mix into the other 3 songs on the album. Can't wait to hear them and judge them in full glory.

I always scroll through all intros of the songs then listen in order. CANNOT WAIT.

Yeah. I'll probably listen to previews, instantly fall in love with 2 or 3 songs, then when the album comes I will listen to these two or three songs over and over again before listening to the others. I have strong obsessive tendencies.

I've never listened to FOMO from beginning to end

Well, it's not all that surprising Liz is all over this album, seeing as Dave Platel is her manager (and has been for years, I believe). Makes sense he'd want to push his own artists to the top of the pile.

I just hope the other songs are better than the one giant cliché that is FOMO...

Wow, I didn’t know that about Dave Platel being her manager... it’s all beginning to make sense. I hope they chose the best songs from the most talented artists instead of just giving friends the job.
