Her evolution is a one of a kind classy show with a gorgeous voice peforming with an orchestra. She's giving the best shows of her life. Not many singers have this luxury.

I have noticed similarities in the 2 songs written by Jean Pierre Ferland.

 

In "Une chance qu'on Ca" they keep repeating "its a good thing we have each other" and at the end they finally admit to each other: "Its a good thing we love each other"

 

I think Ferland exploited the same kind of story/idea for "Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour" but even deeper. Cause in that song she keeps sayign "i dont need love i have everything", and at the end she finally admits, "i need your love"

So, we're looking at an album that has sold around 1.25 million worldwide, topped the charts in many countries, and was the best selling album of 2012 in France, spawned 2 hit singles and was critically acclaimed by the fans.

 

"Le Miracle" is still on the radios. Now we've got a 3rd single with a killer video that apparently didn't do well at all on the charts. Why could that be? And... given that... what are the odds of getting a 4th single?

 

Based on the lack of success of QPVSA one would say the could already let Sans Attendre rest... BUT.. they've still got "The Plaines" and the minitour... maybe we'll get a 4th single in Québec and a different one in Europe?... no music video?

 

What do you guys think?

Yes, maybe they surprise us with a fourth single for Quebec this July, coinciding with that huge summer concert she is preparing (my guess would be Une Chance Qu'on S'a or maybe Que Toi Au Monde), and then in the fall, Attendre or Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi to support the European mini-tour.

Exactly. And whats more, I would say that Céline Dion is an artist who has the easiest way to release 2nd, 3rd and as many singles as she wants from her albums, since she only shots a videoclip and that's all. No promotion in TV, no presentation of each new single in TV shows etc. The promotion for all the 2nd and following singles is so light, that she could have 2, 3, 4 and as many singles she wanted from her albums. *If she wanted*

I don't feel there is any obstacle in promoting two or three singles, as they are for different markets, but I do think they want to focus all their energy towards the English album.

 

I was thinking the other day that it would be cool to have the same song in both French and English released simultaneously, kind of what they did with "Tous Les Secrets" and "Let Your Heart Decide" but with heavy promotion and exposure.

I think that answer about difficult to promote 2 albums at the same time was a bit BSty , as they have done it in the past with excellent results, but of course they would not say that they were not satisfied with the direction of the album and that they were going to scrap most of it to bring out a different one.

Still, I'm glad they did it. Who knows if SA would have suffered because of that and wouldn't have become the great success it was.

Well, actually SISDA only got one crappy music video... and that was because Céline was focused on LTAL, which got maaany music videos.

Yes, I've been wondering about the timing of this Mini Tour -- it's right when she's supposed to release her English album, but it's basically a French-language tour. It's odd.

A fourth single ? WHY I heard Parler a mon père a few times, Le miracle twice only and QPVSA Never !!! Still i listen to the kind of radio stations that play Celine songs.

why not? I don't understand your post at all. Attendre would be perfect for the summer! and I think it's a right move since the English album won't surely be out in Sept but rather Nov, so they have plenty of time to release still a French single June/July

But she could release a 5th by the time she will have her concerts in france, they could use footage from her quebec show as an video.

Make a special edition with dvd of the recordings, the videoclips, or maybe the quebec show, maybe 2 new french songs...

 

She doesn't need to promote it big time like last year, but few interviews, newspapers, maybe 1 tv show, and this french album could sell BIG BIG time!!!

 

It is soo easy to do nothing, but if they are smart, do a little bit more a little bit more effort and the results will be: $$$$

I think they should act quick before people loose their attention again, if they havent already! QPVSA simple isnt working! So they should release a new single asap! Hopefully Attendre! And if that catches on, Céline kan still make a quick video for it (or even use recording footage with the photoshoot footage)....
