This hasn't been confirmed and is from some fan off of Facebook who collects her CDs, I'm sorry but I don't believe it until we see it. It makes complete sense to get another single before the Quebec concert but I'll believe the choice of the single when its officially confirmed and until then take rumors (especially like this one) with a grain of salt.

I really hope they don't use this video. It's not right to use the kids to promote her music, they're barely 3 years old, too much exposure for them.

I can't see them making the music video from the footage of her kids, she keeps them very well out of the public eye for the most part and just would be completely opposite of that if she makes them the focal point in the music video if they use that footage. I imagine if we even get a music video for a 4th single, and if we get a 4th single, and if that single is being performed in Quebec in July then the video will be of the performance in the concert.

According to a french fan in facebook who collects Céline, there's going to be a 4th single from the album. A new CD promo released in July, "La mer et l'enfant"

 

Just when you think Sony can't kill another Céline Dion album, then he come to chose the worst song there is in the album for a single!

 

Seriously... La mer et l'enfant? Have they heard of "Attendre" or "Si je n'ai rien de toi" before??? :doh:

 

 

I think its a good idea. I was thinking about it earlier this month and they should use that footage they had at the specials its defo better and cheaper than the QPVSA single release and its the only choice that makes sense for the summetime

 

3rd single shoulda come out around Valentine's day and be either L'amour peut prendre froid or Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour or both at the respective areas, THAT is why SONY sucks

Dunno, but if they think there's nothing else more exciting to talk about it's just because they want. They seem to be so narrow-minded if that were the case, because when you have a new album and have worked with so many new people, what can be more exciting than talking about that? A new album is also a newborn for the majority of singers, it wouldn't hurt Céline to give her music more credit than what she actually does. And all the people who works for her would surely appreciate that in her interviews

 

What is a shame is that we're seeing how big albums like ANDHC, Taking Chances or Sans Attendre are passing its time without even explaining what's the meaning and the story behind amazing songs included in them like "Attendre", "The Greatest Reward" and so on because she prefers to tell for the 167.932th time that she loves staying at home with her children or how good is RC at baseball . Note that I don't even talk about performing these songs here, but just telling little pieces of info about them, why they are in the album and what she feels about them. Shameful and probably disappointing for the people behind these songs, to see that 1) she doesn't perform his/her song not only once and 2) she doesn't even say a thing about it anywhere.

I actually think this was one of the great things about Sans Attendre . .she did talk a lot about the meaning of the songs, and it was great, because the songs were largely about her family, so she could talk about both at the same time. In quite a lot of the promo -- tv interviews, radio interviews, newspaper articles -- she talked about the meaning of the songs:

- how Parler a Mon Pere is for her father, but she doesn't see it as a sad song;

- how Une Chance Qu'On S'a was a phrase she and Rene would say to each other before JP Ferland's song even came out, so it's a special song for them;

- she's gone on and on about how much she loves Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'Amour . . .how it's not a title people would expect from her; how she loved it from the first time Rene told her about it; how it was written before the twins were born, but it's amazing b/c the lyrics say "un petit, petit, petit . .tres grand bonheur" ("my little, little, little . . . very big happiness" - one "petit" for each of her three children)

- how Les Petit Pieds de Lea was written by someone who had toured with them who lost a child, and how Celine could relate to it because of her miscarriage

- how Celle Qui M'a Toute Appris is about her mother growing older . .i know there was an interview where she quotes that line from the song about her mother following in the path traced by her father. . .

Yes, but still that represent less than half of the 16 songs presented in this album. And not talking, not even performing Attendre, the song which gaves the album its title is just annoying and absurd. It's like she had come back with the ANDHC album in 2002 without even mentioning nor performing the ANDHC song, which sums up all the essence of that album and its meaning. Like you i am tired of hearing about her children and family life all the time. Of course it's entire part of her marketing to let people think they are somehow part of your family since you share pieces of your private life. But now STOP !!!

But one thing that still strikes me and shows that making music is still more a commercial activity than an artistic one: when she said they chose the drawings to illustrate the album and she would have preferred the Alix pictures !! What !!!! she is supposed to have nothing to prove, singing for fun only and she is not allowed to choose what will illustrate her album !!! i am dreaming of a time when with all the money they have the would let Sony down and they would produce their own album. Doing exactly what she wants to do even though it's something completely different !! I know... i am dreaming !!!

Since i don't understand french, the lyric never do much for me but i still love sans attendre and i love most of the song except the duets. And my boyfriend loves Attendre, he even use that song for his ringtone.

Glad that you say this. I am totally uneducated in music, but I can feel that Attendre is a song that musically stands out from the rest of what is in the album, and also in her french discography. It's a very different song both musically and lyrically, the melody doesn't get to you the first time you play it, its a rare song. But with an artist with around 30 albums, rare songs happen to be the most welcomed

Yes, that's one great thing about her French songs . .the French lyrics are much more poetic, in general, than her English ones. That's one way that I feel JJG is a genius . . .the lyrics are beautiful poetry in and of themselves, and the melodies fit them perfectly. I feel this way in particular about En Attendant Ses Pas . .that it's poetry set to music -- but I think it's true of a lot of the JJG songs, and a lot of her French material in general.
