I just got this album. I love "L'amour Peut Prendre Froid". It's the best duet on the album in my opinion. It shows off her soft highs. and I like "Une Chance Qu'on S'a" but the thing that drives me bonkers is that during her notes Jean-Pierre comes over them with "le galaxy". Other then that it's an amazing song

Thank God they changed the concept of the album and did not release a full plamondon album like they initially planned. Apparently he had written a complete album for her, and if QTAM was the best from all of them... I do not wish to listen to the other ones

I hope Celine will do another Plamondon album! There are so man songs he has written that are good! There was a docu on TV5 last Night with other artist incl Celine btw who did songs of Plamondon/Starmania and those songs were GOOD. so I think it's not the question should Celine do another album of Plamondon, but more what songs to add on a Celine album written by Plamondon.

I find very interesting how a song can make such a different impact on two people; for example you and me .

In fact, Que Toi Au Monde has been my favorite song from this album since a video of the recording session was shown during one of the TV specials broadcasted on Quebec TV when 'Sans Attendre' came out.

 

I think it's an extremely dramatic song, that could have worked perfectly on a music video, as the lyrics are just like a plot for a film; they could have made a truly epic music video with this song...

 

When she says "Mais qu’est-ce que t’as fait de tes deux bras qui ne pourront plus me serrer... (But what happened to your two arms, that can't hug me anymore...", I just get goosebumps... It's the most dramatic moment of the song, the "ecstasy".

It's just that the new arrangement is CRAP.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Celine's take on the song; I also love the arrangements, they remind me a bit of the song 'Ma Nouvelle France'.

I like this music. It´s a little cheesy, but it´s ok. i don´t care. The only part that I don´t like is when it refers to "the arms". I think it´s too much.

Yes, 'Celle Qui M'a Tout Appris' is the fourth single from 'Sans Attendre', a weird thing for many reasons:

 

· It's been more than a year since the third single ('Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour?') was released...

· The cover for this single follows the style of 'Loved Me Back To Life' instead of following the one of 'Sans Attendre'...

 

Hopefully she might film a video, as she has filmed a video for each single from this album!

Apparently, Celle Qui M'a Tout Appris will be a radio single, just like the 3 previous ones from this album. Hopefully she'll film a video to promote it decently, just like she did with the 3 previous extracts. Why not filming a video for this single then? A big reason to do it would be the huge success of the album in France...

"Sans Attendre" was a hit album with 3 music videos. Hope we'll get a new one for the new single.

 

As for "Loved Me Back To Life" I simply don't understand what are they doing. A great album completley destroyed by terrible promotion.

The worst song in the past 10 years that I feel she has recorded is "Le miracle"...it is absolutely one of the most annoying songs to listen to. Those backing vocals... "na na na na na na na...." ugh..it grates on my nerves.

i forgot about that...Miracle was something else, a special project with little babies...but anyway, to each his own. Que toi au monde= the power of love, i skip it no matter what. French variety, it could be a song for a war movie, a guy who comes home with no arms, the orchestra starts, the voice soars , people begin to cry. That is what i see in my head. I have no control over these mental images.

But I can't believe Attendre, Si je n'ai rien de toi or Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour were not chosen as singles...
