I wouldn't say it has been confirmed yet because this could just be a small best of compilation again...... not a big release best of like My Love Essential Collection, ONCP, All the Way....

Well A compilation has definitely been confirmed however this one is not the French one. The "Playlist" series is something that many artists have been a part of and they typically include hits mixed with some album cuts or lesser known singles. The Playlist series is defined as: "The life-changing songs. The out-of-print tracks. The hits. The fan favorites everyone loves. The songs that make the artists who they are." Mariah's included the big hits "Dreamlover," "Emotions" and "Fantasy" along with album cuts like "Bliss" and "Outside" plus obscure singles like "Underneath the Stars" and "Breakdown." Usually, these collections are 14 songs.

 

For Céline's, I imagine we will get the staples: TPOL, MHWGO, BYLM, IACBTMN, ANDHC, TLYM, WDMHBN, ABM and The Prayer. Maybe BATB depending on if Disney allows it. That leaves 4 or 5 tracks which I could see being: PQTME, I Surrender, Think Twice, If I Can Dream (since it has yet to be released in the US other than the iTunes music video which has since disappeared), and something from LMBTL.

Agreed!!! It's almost up there with "Overjoyed" to me! :pinch:

I actually enjoy Le Miracle. I thought it was a perfect ending for Une Seule Fois.

Maybe this is the vehicle they will use to promote Une seule fois? Please tell me they scrapped USF for a Bercy show.

Scrap USF? Absolutely NOT! You should be arrested for saying such things :P I want a concert that I attended on DVD.. and A New Day doesn't count as I wasn't in the audience.

I was browsing Legacy Recordings' website after learning of the upcoming "Playlist" release and this caught my eye:

why not releasing a cd/dvd package with un sole fois DVD and 2 CDs with the mini tour in France. That would be an awesome gift to the fans

I prefered the setlist from Quebec. lol I enjoyed the medley with Des Mots Qui Sonnent that was missing from the European tour. I do agree that vocally the European concerts were better. I also agree with your idea of the DVD for USF and a 2 CD of the European tour.

I was sad that that was missing, but having "Tout l'or des hommes" and "Immensite" was an immense thrill! And bringing back 'Regarde-moi" was tits.

i did miss not having Regarde-Moi in Quebec. I was looking forward to it but understand why they didn't have it included.

Don't they know that Attendre and SJNRDT are fans' favortites?? Who are choosing these singles? 60 years old men around a table at Sony?

i think it must be the same people that are behind the strategies for the Partie québécois in Québec, a change is needed.
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

I guess Sony knows ths single won't be played much on radio... they just want a last push to sell the album. All the good daughters and sons will buy the album for Mother's Day... :D

I wish "Les jours comme ça" would have been the next single. It's one of my favorites from the album. It would be nice if it would be performed live sometime. However, I'm sure it never will. :down:

Unbelievable but 'Les Petits Pieds De Lea' is by miles the most popular no-single track of the album on YouTube. Videos of over 200k, 90k and even 500k views! Amazing!
