Les Petits pied de Lea got instantly famous the night of the Sans Attendre Special on TVA. They did a great job with the editing for that segment of the show. They let the audience wanting to hear more of it. They only played a bit of that song, and showed Celine and the mother crying a lot over the loss of the baby. It was, i think, #1 the next day on iTunes Canada Francophone section.

I found this song very touching, lullaby song... but it ends there for me.

I personally think the song is a MASTERPIECE. It will go down as a classic in her francophone repertoire.

I watched the live DVD today. The songs from SA stood out the most for me. Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour is a tearjercker, La mer et L'Enfant a masterpiece and Parler a mon pere the song that has me hooked like no other! I love this album so much, possibly my favorite French album ever.

I agree.

Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour has been my favorite from the beginning, but seeing Celine sing it live (on the DVD, not that I was there) has made me love it even more.

I might even hit the 750.000 this year? How many copies were sold the last few weeks? Anyone?

Yeah its doing really well, even with a poor choice of singles, except PAMP.

You imagine if they had chosen "Attendre" or "Si Je N'ai Rien de Toi" to promote the album??

Agree, if it still charts, they should do something about it, they must know it, right?. Release Attendre, Si je n'ai rien de toi or even Moi quand je pleure (not mentioning Des jours comme ca). with a proper video of course and it could do wonders for this album.

Has anything happend that it jumped so high again?

Exactly, you're asking for a new single but actually we do have a new one (CQMTA), one year and a half after the release of the album!

And I agree, SJNRDT or Attendre would make GREAT 5th singles but they would need some tv appearances and a music video of course. People need to connect the song to Céline. These last singles can be connected to one's personal history and that's why they worked so well (especially PAMP)

I feel like Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour or Le Petit Pied de Lea should be the 5th and final as it seems people are relating and connecting to those songs emotionally. The other 2 are great and radio-friendly but I feel like these 2 would actually be another surprise hit like Parler a Mon Pere

if thats the fifth single, i'm giving up completely on her management team....

great little song, but radio single? definitely not! jeez, who are these people? are they all 80 years old like René?

It's the perfect single, i'm surprised they didn't release it last summer after the worst possible single QPVSA

I just listened to this cd again for the first time in 4 or 5 months and MQJP is soooo damn French! Well, for me, being from America, that what I envision as the quintessential French sound! I am so stuck on this song right now! I Love, love, love it!!! :giggle:

This album sounds so usual yet it haves some hidden qualities and growning potential (except wonderful SJNRDT)

I agree. Tant de Temps was a song I didn't overly care for at first. I actually quite enjoy it now.

Mais qui peut dire, qu’il peut vivre sans amour, qui?

Yeah as far as I believe this promo was released to promote une seule fois. At least that is what I heard some time ago

Elle est mon idéal, La plus grande étoile

Will be going to Celine march 2 and 5 2016 and June 20 and 21 2016

It's very rare, isn't it?
