Interesting that a 4th single is released... I'm not a big fan of Celle qui m'a tout appris. Oh well...

But I can't believe Attendre, Si je n'ai rien de toi or Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour were not chosen as singles...

I would have chosen SJNRDT any day!

I wish it had been released as a single back in fall before the mini tour. They missed the chance. Now they could be releasing the 5th single...

 

But I'm sure that now it has something to do with the future release of Une seule fois (Bercy?) cause just as I said if it was to promote SA it would have been done in Nov.

 

All in all, I'm happy as long as we get a radio single!

A reliable friend of mine just said on facebook that Sony is preparing a Frech greatest hits of Celine and, for the first time, it will include songs from 'Sans Attendre'. Stay tuned...

I saw that too... if this is true and they are only gonna use CQMTA for yet ANOTHER complication album we really have to complain to Sony, Rene and Productions J that they are doing a crap #ss job for releasing this and NOT USF or TE2013

I think it's still too soon to blame them for the way they're using this new single (I hope that at least they'll be smart enough to give ANY use to it).

And, if these news about a possible new compilation are true, I hope it will be a major release (like 'On Ne Change Pas' from 2005), and not like 'Avec Toi', which we got in mid 2013...

Celine has only released 2 French albums after ONCP, so it's quite something to release another French compilation now, unless it's very different from ONCP.

I personally prefer a collector's vol 2 (don't remember the exact name), which can include previous rare tracks from ANY languages

I think two albums are more than enough for them to put out another greatest hits; hopefully they'll include an unreleased/new track to promote it. (Like they did with 'Je Ne Vous Oublie Pas' back in the day)

It will be bigger than Avec Toi anyway, cos this will be a Sony Music release, which AT wasn't!

 

But this best of can't bring anything new except ESNRQ, I, AC, PAMP, LM, QPVSA and all the typical "hits" PQTME, JSP, LAEE etc....

 

It would be way more interesting to release a live version of CQMTA and a live cd...

Perhaps the version on the promo will be a live version - similar to when she released "J'attendais" as a single to promote "Live à Paris"? This could explain why they ditched the SA artwork?

 

And unless it includes new songs, PLEASE GOD NOT ANOTHER GREATEST HITS! Between ONCP (France release, Canada release, 3CD "L'integrale" release, 1CD, 3CD "Best Of" Re-release), Complete Best, My Love: Essential Collection (US and International releases), My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection (US and International releases), The Essential Céline Dion (US and International releases), The Essential Céline Dion 3.0, and The Best of Céline Dion and David Foster, I think we've had our fill of compilations since ATW and Collector's Series were released back in the day!

 

Bring on another live release! Would be great to have the Plamondon/Incognito medley in full HQ!

Let's wait guys. Right now we have 3 subjects to deal with:

 

· New radio single: Celle Qui M'a Tout Appris.

This was something really unexpected by most of the fans, who thought the promo for this album was completed with the mini-tour in Belgium and France. Now, some fans think that this single might have been released to promote a possible live DVD (Une Seule Fois) or that rumored new greatest hits in french.

I find really interesting MrTim's hypothesis of the cover for this single being different from the previous extracts and comparing it to J'attendais- 'Live à Paris'.

 

· Still unreleased DVD for 'Céline... Une Seule Fois'.

If the single was released to promote this potentially upcoming DVD, we should start getting some commentaries about this from Productions J or Julie Snyder really soon...

 

· Upcoming Greatest Hits in French.

This is what my Facebook friend posted this morning translated into English:

"Coming soon to shops: Compilation of Céline songs in French and, for the first time, tracks from 'Sans Attendre'. More info very soon..."

Yes, I was the one who said he is a reliable source but now I just remembered that, last summer, he said that La Mer Et L'enfant was about to be released as a promo single in Quebec to promote the concert at the Plaines, which thank God never happened... So I don't know, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

In case that this is real, I can only expect one or two new songs (maybe finally Les Cinq Doigts De La Main?), otherwise I'd see it as a slap in the face for us.

 

About CQMTA, I honestly think this is just a radio release to try to bring 'Sans Attendre' back to the top of the French charts. I hope I'm wrong and we'll get a music video and a couple of promotional performances here and there!
