But it's Sony you know. At least the artwork is full of details and very colored! L'amour peut prendre froid is one song that you don't expect from Céline's French repertoire but in a very good way! It's marvelous. And should have been a huge hit! In some way it's a duet that could have been sung by Italian artists. But to be honest every song from this album (even the ones that I don't like) have something that makes them unique. A great album. A great piece of work. Not rushed and crafted just to please everyone and most of all well sung and produced. 3 Quote
ryba Posted November 4, 2022 at 07:59 PM Posted November 4, 2022 at 07:59 PM My favorite song is Attendre. It’s pure perfection. The build up, the climax and the vocal delivery are outstanding. It definitely should have been a single. 7 Quote

Céline RO Posted November 12, 2022 at 01:58 PM Posted November 12, 2022 at 01:58 PM I didn’t care much for this album when it was released, I guess I was a bit underwhelmed, expecting something more along the lines of D’eux and SSDA, and considered it one of her weaker releases. I do remember liking PAMP though and playing it a lot, although my favorite song on the album was and still is “Si je n’ai rien de toi”. I have to admit that I’ve grown to appreciate the album a lot more in recent years - I find myself listening to “Les jours comme ça” surprisingly often. Regardless of my personal tastes and opinion on the album, what I find strange is the lack of attention TC have given PAMP since 2013. It’s one of her most streamed songs (the music video has 101 million views on YouTube!) and yet it has not been performed once since the album promotion ended with the 2013 concert series. 1 Quote The best is yet to come...
LukeD Posted November 12, 2022 at 08:24 PM Posted November 12, 2022 at 08:24 PM Beautiful album, one of her very best... Instantly fell in love with it... ❤️ My favourite songs in no particular order: - Parler a Mon Pere- Attendre- La mer et l'enfant- Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour- Si je n'ai rien de toi- Que toi au monde This was an album about family bonding, love and loss. Sweet melodies, restraint and emotive vocals, careful and consistent production... Lyrics were strong too with a few exceptions only... Easy 9/10 for me. 4 Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted November 14, 2022 at 02:44 PM Posted November 14, 2022 at 02:44 PM "Le Miracle" was such a lame single choice. The song has not rested well in my head. But the album really has some gems. "Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour" is such a treasure. Having a Johnny Hallyday duet is a thrill as well as Jean-Pierre Ferland and they are both excellent songs, too. 2 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

Oh, I love it! When it first came out as single I didn't like it much, it didn't sound like single material to me. Was a poor choice. But I love the song. It is just pleasant to hear and it goes well with the album concept. Quote

LukeD Posted January 8, 2023 at 06:55 PM Posted January 8, 2023 at 06:55 PM (edited) IMO Attendre should have been the 2nd single in France and Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour the 2nd single in Quebec. I could also see Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi being the 3rd single. LM and QPVSA were poor choices. Edited January 8, 2023 at 06:55 PM by LukeD 1 Quote
