As if we care for this stupid notebook. Did they make a deal with this illustrator? What do they want to sell?

Celine or the illustrations? As if people care for this! I hope not anyone of you spends their money on this!

By the way, these illustrations and the whole package is soooooo girly. It just does not match with the mature songs on the cd.

I don't think this horrible idea of a "collector's limited edition" was Celine's idea. If you remember she even said she was kinda upset they went with the drawings instead of the photoshoot pictures. I think this was all Sony.

That's the matter, that probably Céline herself doesn't give a damn about this re-released album who has sold more than 1 million copies. That's the main problem, that she doesn't care at all. Because if she or her team cared, and cared ENOUGH to have their say and some kind of involvement in the design of all these aspects of her albums, believe me, things would be quite different, and nothing of this cheap and silly decisions would have happened (starting with the inclusion of the childish illustrations instead of the great photoshoot, that even Céline herself didn't want that to be on the album

 

I think the last (and only) time we saw Céline having some kind of involvement in the design and contents of one of her albums was with the Taking Chances collector's boxset, that she said she designed the box herself. That's one album out of around 30 . And now we have a french album which has surpassed the 1 Million mark of sales (which is really incredible these days), and they have the chance to release the album again, and with all the amazing contents they can include, all the best they can do is to put... a notebook? GREAT. BRAVO.

 

Now please don't start again the old story that this has nothing to do with Céline or René, that it doesn't depend on them and blah blah blah. You know what depends on her? She has just sold more than 1 million albums of this title. That's more than enough reason for Céline to have "carte blanche" and say whoever at Sony's board "hey, now I'm going to release the contents that I want for the fans, and design the album the way I wanted". It's just a matter of involvement. But with Céline and René, when it comes to the material they put out, this never happens. Hence, all the best we can get is a notebook. Rubbish .

I had a good laugh this morning when I read about the re-release of the Deluxe Edition. haha No thought put into it at all. I'm not surprised.

If we compare the different releases of D'elles with Sans Attendre, this just looks like a joke, a practical joke.

 

So we have the album D'elles in 2007, that compared to Sans Attendre the sales are a laugh, and it had -besides the standard edition- a 1) deluxe edition that included one booklet for the lyrics, another separate booklet for the photos, and also a DVD with the making of the album, and then it also had a 2) collector's boxset with the same contents as the deluxe + more photos and postcards and exclusive packaging designed for the booklets.... Then comes Sans Attendre oin 2012 with nearly 1.500.000 copies sold and this album can't have anything of this? A notebook and a calendar is the best thing they can come up with? It's just NOSENSE, ludicrous!!!!! :sofunny:

Right, I know it's pointless but I also gave my opinion on that, here it is.

"No new stuff on the collector's edition of "Sans Attendre"? Sorry, but I'm not gonna buy it just to get a crappy notebook. We all love Celine, but we're not idiots, you know that, right?

P.S. One quick word to Sony (or whoever made that decision) - GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER WHEN IT COMES TO CELINE'S CAREER BECAUSE YOU SOMETIMES ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT AMATEURS."
