wait, what the hell is the difference between album and record of the year. Christina did an amazing job. I don't think it was lipped, my tv was being slow (damn digital lol).

Song of the year = same with the record of the year but the award goes to the songwriter(s)

Mariah can't sing anymore! But at least she got to promote her own record (XMas). Did you notice she's the only one who did not sing a "classic". And got top billing to top it off. Might have been to compete with the Xmas lighting at Rock Center on another network. Edited by joeym

The Album of the Year is for an actual album...like when Celine won for Falling Into You.

The Record of the Year is for an actual song...like when Celine won for My Heart Will Go On.

 

The show is almost over and they're probably just going to announce the best pop album and record of the year and Celine will be nominated for neither. -_-

It's great to see Celine at the Grammy Nominations!! I didn't think the song was boring, sure it's slow but the melody is quite nice to listen to :wub:
