I have just heard that the new album will be a ''Best Of'' album, but there will be some new material on there!

I can't say anything else unfortunatley at this stage, so please no questions, lol.

 

I will have more info. on this over the coming weeks....

yes, an English ONCP with 10.000 versions, with 60 tracks and 2-3 new songs.

I based this list on the US, Canada, UK, and France pop chart, each of the songs was at least #4 peak position in one of those countries.

HOW INTERESTING! how come Sony is interested in our choices for some hits album that she's already done before in a way with ATW, and yet not giving a damn about the choices for singles from TC? I don't think we should tell them anything except focus on her new albums, instead of focusing on making an old new one

Why does everybody have to be so negative about everything? First people complain because they say Sony doesn't care about the fans, now they're complaining that Sony is actually asking us our advice! What do you want!? Maybe Sony hasn't done the best to promote Celine's new CD, but at least they are asking our opinion, which was one of the earlier compaints I have read.

Because Sony has let us down too many times before. I mean Taking Chances was supposed to put Celine back on the map, and what hapened was we ended up doing better promo than the label did. Like I said, even if they let us choose the tracklisting, what are they going to do to support the release? "Oh just stick her on Oprah." No, that doesn't cut it. Look at what Def Jam did for Mariah. They went all out for her and she got her biggest opening of her career. What did Sony do? They couldn't be bothered to send Taking Chances for adds at any format except AC. Imagine if Sony did half as much for Celine. Taking Chances would've been huge, and the album wouldn't be struggling to reach 1 million.
