...I completely disagree with some members when they chose the classics ... I do love them, but don't forget we already have "All The Way" and "The Collector's Series" I think in those albums we caught the master pieces Céline has performed through the years, it's time to recognise those jewels that are not (maybe) so commercial , but they are songs that can also make you feel those things Céline helps to describe with words So, let's think in no classics and propose songs as good as those ones... but less played all around the world

I completely agree with you. I think the songs that were great but never released as singles would be excellent!

Hi Guys

Just a little update on this topic....

I have learned that ''My Love'' is to be on this new album but.... it is to be re-recorded, into the version that Celine performs on this tour, as it was very well received.

And there will be a single on there, that did not make the ''Taking Chances'' album.
But what it is, I can't say at the minute.

I will have more updates over the coming weeks!

Holiday season is always a really HOT time to see Greatest Hit's releasese.........if done right, A new greatest hits collection could explode on the charts......look at Garth Brooks last year and his new collection? Sure, "All the way..." is great, but a new collection with a HOT new single, PLUS tracks like "Taking Chances" "Alone" "A new day has come" "Have you ever been in Love" "I'm Alive" "I drove all night" "If I can Dream" with Elvis" , "Where does my heart beat now? How odd to release a song that didn't make it to the final cut of Taking Chances as a single. :shrug: Shouldn't the fact that it didn't make it to the album point out that it isn't really that good of a song? :doh:

On the other hand, their wierd single choices never cease to amase me.

Best of should have commercial and pretty goodsongs, her best since 2000 please forget the preivous ones, It`s the past she is trying to get off a little bit...

Why not instead of releasing a greatest hits cd separately, kill two birds with one stone and make it "Taking Chances-World Tour Edition-2CD's"

Disc 1 being The Taking Chances CD including previously not included tracks The reason I Go on/map to my heart/*hot new song..or two*...

THEN

Disc 2 is some of the greatest hits she'll be performing on the tour, like maybe 7 or 8 songs?

it is so frustrating because sometimes you think that you have every song released and then others are released in other countries and you cant get them where you live. GRRRRR. :evil:

Why cant they release every song in every country. So that no fan ever misses out. :huh:

It was said yes, but I don't believe that. If it really had been recorded, if that full song really existed, I think Coty would have release it already being now with her 10th parfume :rolleyes:

Maybe it was sooo good that they decided not to waste it on Taking Chances. Or maybe it was a different vibe and didn't fit the album, such as, hum I don't know let's say, tha rumored Timbaland track... :bye1:

And so far there is no confirmed title or release date.

and now i also guess this one is different to ATW re-release..!

ATW is the Legacy re-release with something new or rare or also dvd...

but this one is new best of.. or so.!!

I can't say 100% at the minute, regarding the tracklistings!!!

As I said before, I will be able to give more updates next month on this, but...

I believe at present (and this may change), they will not be totally different, just one or two different songs (example... the uk will have a song/s that did well here ie. think twice, but the u.s version will have another song in its place, that did well there..)

Similar to the changes that we have seen in the ''All the way'' uk and us album versions.

But as I said, stay tuned!!

Well, does any of her albums have a "wibe"?! They are all even more schizo than a greatest hits album each and every one of them (except maybe the first two English albums). I ain't byin that, I mean common, if AWTBI and ASFY got a spot on this album then the excluded tracks must be really "un-hittish" to say the least.... :ermm:

I know, her albums are usually all over the place. :sofunny: You're absolutely right. I was just guessing, maybe even within their schizo frame of mind they thought a certain track was too much. (Or too little as you suggest. :doh: ) Anyway if they think it is single material, I can't help but to get my hopes up. :kicking:

It has got to be a collection of her biggest hits. A collection of her best songs would simply not sell well.

I think these songs should be included (other than the obvious ones like MHWGO etc):

- Tell Him

- Where Does My Heart Beat Now

- Love Can Move Mountains

- One Heart
