Amazing news. This album is doing pretty well.

The album is back in the UK charts this week due to the vinyl release. Its currently at #73 in the midweek chart.

 

If its in the final chart announced on Friday it will be its 437th week on the chart, almost 8.5 years!

Surprised it's even on the charts. How do people know about this vinyl.

Got the vinyl today. It’s honestly so stunning.

Sadly it only includes songs until 2008. I wish they would release a new big greatest hits album with songs from LMBTL, courage and the singles like ashes and HDAMLF and songs from love again

Yeah its soooo boring to be a celine dion fan since the pandemic. Im losing interest everyday more. I miss the old days when we get to have something new to buy every year! Now they do NOTHING for the hardcore fans.

I will say that picture of the vinyl in that guys car looks great, but yes they could do a bit more then the bare minimum.

 

It being 73 on the UK charts means nothing because 1. It will drop by tomorrow. 2. Thats only like 500 sales or something.

This is the first vinyl I’ve ever bought at a store that I didn’t have to order

 

Makes me miss the good ole days when you could just come to any music store and they would have TONS of Celine stuff

 

Nowadays you gotta order everything, pay for shipping and patiently wait for it to arrive. Grrrrr

 

At least in the US. The FNAC on Champs Elysées still has all of her main catalog in stock

There was also an amazing store right across the street from Virgin that had the most amazing selection of sheet music. Anything you could think of. They closed a long time ago as well.

Yes, it's very frustrating! None of the shops I went to carried it. So, I will have to rely on ordering it online.

I am not sure if this has maybe been discussed previously in this thread, but is there any known reason why my love ultimate essential collection, the version with 27 tracks and 2 CDs seems to be the same as the essential Céline Dion? From what I can tell besides the title there’s absolutely no difference. I have copies of both.

I think you answered your question in the last sentence. You have both which means more money to them. The Very Best of Celine Dion is also the same tracklist and cover as All the Way...

Sony were doing an essential album for most of their legacy artists at the time and used the same theme. Basically repackaged artists greatest hits.
