This is the most pointless release. Nobody has any creativity anymore I guess… or they just know all whole bunch of Celine nuts are going to eat it all up… not me I refuse to give them my money for the same damn product I already own.

It’s like buying the same car own that’s white because you now it’s available in beige.

It's not the same, as the tracklist is a mix of the EU and USA ones. :P

 

So in a way it's interesting they went to the trouble of selecting new (old) songs for this version.

 

I think it's cool ML gets a vinyl release and it might attract vinyl lovers that just want a good compilation of an artist in their collection, instead of a full album.

I wish they'd release All The Way on vinyl instead since they are releasing a compilation. At least we are getting something.

 

Although where is the vinyl of A New Day Has Come, One Heart, Miracle and Taking Chances?

Why not a whole new greatest hits album including LMBTL, Ashes, a DVD with the 2016/17 tour? Now that would be a release worth buying! Re-releasing a 2008 collection without anything special in addition is the most pointless thing ever. Her team consists of idiots.

Celine is not the only person releaing vinyls. A lot of artists are releasing or rereleasing them with nothing new. They sell like hot cakes. Madonna has released like 5 in the past two years with nothing new at all. As long as there are fans buying these useless releases they will keep doing it.

The Asian Best of CD from 2018 includes LMBTL, but her early hits (WDMHBN, BATB) are not on the CD.

Un Peu De Nous also includes LMBTL, but the other hits are mainly the French hits.

 

So yes, they should have updated the My Love tracklist with LMBTL.

Her best collections are the All The Way... (for the new songs), and The Best Of Celine Dion And David Foster (for including new productions of the songs)...

It's true that other artists are releasing vinyls... but Sony could do something exciting with the vinyls...

For example, Laura Pausini released her whole discography in vinyl, and with each vinyl came a digital bonus with songs from a concert she did for her 30th carreer anniversary...

Any bonus or NEW release would be worthy... but Sony doesn't care

Neither does Celine. If you have an artist who is more involved in the creative process like Mariah, for example, they push their labels for the “extra” mile with releases like this for their fans. This is where Rene or any manager who cares is greatly missed.

Un Peu De Nous, that tracklist. It could have been a greater album with the live versions.

 

Still wonder why they canceled the dvd/cd of the tour.

It was the same with the Olympia concert from 1994. Hopefully they will upload it for the 30 anniversary this year!

I would only want this vinyl if it were the ultimate essential. With the inclusion of I KNEW I LOVED YOU, which was removed from the digital versions of the album.

 

The only exciting thing about this release is that we get songs from ANDHC and OH on vinyl. Other than that, what a waste.

Id say the closest thing to interesting was them rereleasing These are the Special Times on vinyl and streaming with I Met an Angel on Christmas Day. Since we didnt have that song available before. Although they should have remastered the music video and put it on her youtube. Small steps i guess

Vinyl versions of ANDHC, IA, IDAN, TC and TTWIS are just so great and clear. Wish they released their mother albums on vinyl.

 

Is it me or IDAN is a bit faster on the vinyl ?

The album is back in the UK charts this week due to the vinyl release. It’s currently at #73 in the midweek chart.

 

If it’s in the final chart announced on Friday it will be its 437th week on the chart, almost 8.5 years!
