I have learned that ''My Love'' is to be on this new album but.... it is to be re-recorded, into the version that Celine performs on this tour, as it was very well received.

And there will be a single on there, that did not make the ''Taking Chances'' album.
But what it is, I can't say at the minute.

I will have more updates over the coming weeks!

Or it can be worse: they can sing all those in a medley, which will remind everyone to the Las Vegas medley and then I know what the critic (and many fans) will say... -_-

But I'm sure they will include some of the unreleased tracks of TC album, some new recording studio songs like they did for people to buy the crappy ANDLILV disc :yes: :rolleyes:

who's the supposive source from sony? I honestly dont think ethier of these is happening, at least not in the Fall. They would have already been almost done with it if they had a fall release date, not just figuring out the tracklist. Its almost august already!Is this just being released in the UK? or everywhere? Just curious..because we got asked stuff by "sony" before and never saw anything from it. :confused:

I don't post a list here, because it really is clear, which songs are her greatest hits... depending on the country or continent, but it is really not hard to pick some songs. I like the Idea of a number1s, but also the idea of a collectors edition vol.2

But what about picking those songs and putting them on a greatest hit cd in a different version. maybe she would like to rerecord som older songs.. her voice changed in the last 10 years and is very great now.. you know what I think of, when aou had been on her concerts the last few months...

I think, when having recorded an album, not only the album version was safed on disk, also different kinds of interpreting her songs are surely in any of sonys cupboard ... why not loking for them and thinking of putting one of them on the album....

If you ever had the possibility to listen to a soundcheck, you know that she can play with her songs and sing them in a completly different way... I remember a really jazzy version of "the reason" in the soundcheck from her ltal-tour in munich, or this year the way she sang taking chances on te soundcheck in munich... I really loved it and this is abolutely compatible with the idea of a greatest hits album, but the known songs can be really new this way....

another possibility is having some rare remixes of her songs... I really like it when they play the wake-up mix of I'm alive on radio here in Germany... and the radio station likes that version too.. but it never was on her official singles....

and of course, why not put some really new songs on the CD too ....

yeah me too, but I'd rather hear that in a Mtv Unplugged, or Lara Fabian's En Toute Intimité then a studio recording, cos that takes away the spontainiousness! (is that a word? lmao! )

I don't think they should do live versions... as a customer, the resonance of an applause when I'm not expecting one is a bit upsetting. And I definitely think they should do it all in English, since there are already so many French Best Ofs. I've been looking through her discography, and there are just so many choices. I'd like it if they picked songs that show her range as a singer (i.e. gospel- New Dawn, reggae- Treat Her Like a Lady, et &).

Does she have any English Blues songs that I'm not thinking of? I can only remember Tous Les Blues Sont Ecrites Pour Toi. I love her Blues... maybe they should include that song, too (it's partially in English!)

I do agree with you. That's why when I posted my choices I tried to include not only english songs but also in french. I completely disagree with some members when they chose the classics :hmm: ... I do love them, but don't forget we already have "All The Way" and "The Collector's Series" -_- I think in those albums we caught the master pieces Céline has performed through the years, it's time to recognise those jewels that are not (maybe) so commercial :wink: , but they are songs that can also make you feel those things Céline helps to describe with words So, let's think in no classics and propose songs as good as those ones... but less played all around the world :shrug:

P.S. It could be great to have "Tous les blues sont écrits pour toi" translated all in english... Could be nice! :thumbsup2:
