I personally think a "The Collector's Series, Vol. 2" would sell much better if it included all those unedited songs or those ones Celine has released in several compilations, tribute albums or as b-sides that fans would love to have on one CD.

This would be my wish list for a "The Collector's Series, Vol. 2":

01. God Bless America -> only released as a single and on a compilation

02. Let Your Heart Decide -> only released as b-side for the French single "Tous Les Secrets"

03. Would I Know -> unedited, recorded for "All The Way... A Decade Of Song"

04. Eyes On Me (feat. Will.I.Am) -> it was recorded in studio because Celine sang it on playback for her CBS special

05. Here, There & Everywhere -> only released on George Martin's album tribute to The Beatles

06. If I Can Dream (Duet with Elvis Presley) -> it was recorded and mixed in studio because Celine sang it on playback on "American Idol"

07. All Because Of You -> only released as b-side on the single "Goodbye's The Saddest Word"

08. Is Nothing Sacred -> unedited, recorded for "Let's Talk About Love"

09. Your Light -> only included in some editions of "Falling Into You"

10. Dance With My Father -> only included on the Luther Vandross tribute album

11. Super Love -> only released on the European edition of "A New Day Has Come"

oh man we've already had a greatest hits compilation. why not give the fans some visual material of the tours she has done. especially when she was younger before she hit america and started recording english material. there is so much stuff they can use but they want to give us stuff we already have. :ermm:

I do wish they would put more of the rarer tracks together on an album rather than another rehash of all the songs we LOVE but have heard thousands of times before. Her rarer songs are sooooo good, that more people need to hear them.

I have finally thought through what I want the album to be like for it to be interesting enough for me to buy, yet essential for those who want a greatest hits + reasonable.

The concept: As a follow up to her latest GH All The Way... A Decade of Song, complementing the tracks which were missed on it (ignoring TCS vol 1) plus adding hits from 2002 to date. The album should be seen as a "all the way the sequal" plus songs that didn't make it on there plus great tracks since. Plus wrapping it all in Céline style with a "personal touch" presenting the album as a compilation of what Celine Dion stands for (therefor the need of a tracklist with a wide perspective, one song from Miracle needed coz of that - I choose MPO simply coz that's the highest quality track of the album a masterpiece, could be exchanged for In Some Small Way). Title: I've Got The Music In Me - Two Decades of Song. This making the way for "special" boxes also featuring ATW.

Because of the concept explained above, I wont include tracks such as MHWGO,BYLM,IACBTMN and TTWII, since they already are on ATW.

The 16 track limit has forced me to exlude these dear tracks: Eyes On Me, Calling You (live), Next Plane Out, Reveal, Call The Man, The Reason, If I Can Dream, Seduces Me, Us, Sorry For Love (02 version), Just Walk Away, Everybody's Talking My Baby Down, Only One Road :down:

My idea is to release it as two different versions (as with ATW) and this to contemplate the tracks being on one version of ATW and missed on the other. (I and TT missed on US version, LCMM and IYAMT missed on European version).

Just Walk Away should had been on there for that reason too but I didn't find space for it.

Are they planning to release this album while Celine will be in a brek to have her second baby?

If yes, I believe everybody would be much happier if an album only with the unreleased tracks was released. Many people here are longing for having an album with the rare or unreleased tracks. It would be a way of having a new CD without having to take Celine to tha studio.

They can't take our money with those same old songs. Please, regard the suggestion!

About which tracks should be concidered hits and not, look at the French greatest hits, songs like Et Je Taime Encore and Contre Nature were on, and even though their great songs they were never hits, not to mention Le Loup, La Biche Et Le Chevalier (une Chanson Douce) - what was up with that?!

*lol* You know..I listened to ONCP yesterday and when Une Chanson Douce started palying I remember going "why the hell is that on here", haha. still puzzles me.
