Definetly yes! Another greatest hits today will only force to release an All The Way part II plus three songs, like I've said, ANDHC, I'm Alive and IDAN.

Don't give them any ideas.....then they can just re-release the "Complete Best" album worldwide!

I do not like this idea at all.... another compilation/best of/greatest hits? I am going to cry.....

But if Sony is insistent in doing this, how about a "Best of...live performances from around the world"? Or maybe that's too much considering we have the DVD from Vegas now? But I still kinda like the idea... there are tons of unreleased live recording from her concerts over the years... give us a live montage of stuff from early 90's up to and including this tour... that would be cool

If I have to hear "Because You Loved Me" one more time, I might scream! They need a 2000-on compilaton. Let's wait another 10 years before we have a box set or a "On ne change pas"-type recording. Her english career, IMHO, is too short for a HUGE compilation just yet.

Agree :yes: . It won't have any sense to release another compilation that includes BYLM, IACBTMN etc etc. We already have the great All The Way for that. Sony please NO!!! -_-

I think the EXTREME success of "I Surrender" and "River Deep, Mountain High" needs to be looked at. Those two songs are now so much associated with Celine, even one that wasn't hers to begin with!

It would be awesome if she'd re-record "River Deep, Mountain High" for a special compilation like that.

In my opinion it should be a 2CD set with English only recordings. 16 songs is not enough to cover 20 years of her career.

I don't like the idea of a GH so soon after All The Way. I think a better idea would be to release unlreleased material with some live songs on it. Sarah mclachlan has done such a think and I really think it's a good idea. Why do we need yet another album with tracks that we already have on another album.

So I think Sony would be better off going in their vault and getting out those dusty unreleased songs and release them. That also included unreleased mixes from some songs we already have, as I remember in a discussion somewhere saying that some original mixes were better then the ones released.

We must remember that ALL THE WAY...A DECADE OF SONG will be 9 years old this fall (isn't that CRAZY!...I remember it coming out and her Oprah appearances like yesterday).

Her break from '99-'02 really shows when trying to make a "new compilation" of "Hits".

ALSO,...i dont think people understand that a greatest hits album involves hits not songs that weren't even released as singles

First, let me say that one CD will not be enough to work as a SOLID Greatest Hits album. In order for this to be achieved a 2CD set must be released. Not only will this help tie Celine's career together beautifully, but it will also help bring in more money for Sony than one CD on its own would. With that said, please, Ire, since you are going to be our "voices" please let Sony know that a 2CD set is the best ideal release for this type of album for both them to increase their revenue and to also make the fan's VERY happy!

yeh i agree that u kind of cant have another greatest hits when there havnt been any really since 2002, so its gonna end up being the ones that didnt make it on to all the way.....but they should have made that a double cd in the 1st place coz the opportunity has been lost now and it looks like now theyre trying to tack on the songs that they couldnt fit on the other one ina desperate bid to release a greatest hits 2.

But what i will say is that one song eeeeeveryone seems to have forgotton and was actually quite big and one of my faaaave celine songs at the time....ONLY ONE ROAD!!!! get that on some cd...somewhere - i dont want it forgotten! haha.

Obviously also, misled, think twice, the reason (seems to be really popular actually at karaeoke etc which i always find surprising so i be that would be welcomed) .

Call the man and treat her like a lady also would be good to have on there (even tho treat her like a...wasnt even on the radar really) and yeh Falling into you!! love that.

Taking Chances and eyes on me to bring it up to date but EOM was a complete disaster of a release so putting it on there (even tho i friggin love the song) would be hillarious. but hey.

It wouldn't appeal to everybody, keeping in mind that many people out there only have the albums of Falling Into You, Let's Talk About Love and All The Way, I'm over those songs too I hear them all the time and they will forever be attached to Celine but they couldn't be ignored on a GH album because the are 2 of her greatest English hits...
