I dunno I think less than 75-80 world wide in her 7week, maybe around 70k dunno

 

BTW this one seems accurate.

At least I'm glad she is trying to sing live. She hasn't sing live during a promotion outside of USA since the Daydream era.

 

That's not true. She sang "Thank God I found you" with Trey on several tv-shows in Europe in early 2000. She did a lot more promotion, but I'm not sure whether those were live. ("Boy", "Through the rain", "Got your number", "I still believe", "My all" and others).

The ones that she sang with Trey Lorenz were lipped. Only Trey was singing live. And Heartbreaker is a pre-recorded version. Honey was live at Top Of The Pops but there were some lipped notes as well.

I doubt they were even going to release them. I remember the stupid thing they put on the CD case saying these 2 are singles as well. There were some that says ''Side Effects and I Stay In Love''

 

 

 

Mariah To Play Ireland's Point Depot in March '09?

It has been reported in The Irish Mirror Newspaper (4th June 08) that Mariah Carey has signed a deal to perform not one but two live concerts at the Point Depot in Dublin, Ireland in March of next year. This venue is currently closed and under major renovations therefore making Mariah one of the first acts to grace its stage.

 

This will be the first concert Mariah will have ever performed in Ireland apart from her appearance at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 1999 where she performed Heartbreaker (Remix) with Da Brat and Missy Elliott. The article goes on to say that Mariah is very excited about performing in Ireland as she is very proud that her mother is of Irish decent.

 

As previously reported, in the press conference for E=MC² at The Peninsula Tokyo Monday, June 2nd, Mariah confirmed that her next single will be "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time." Read of the interview from Ritcher's (Universal China) interview with Mariah in which she talks about the video to the song.

 

"What do I know about the video? I know that it's gonna utilize a lot of the beautiful nature obviously that you get when you go to Hawaii. It's a gorgeous place. i think they should've released I Stay in Love as the second single, instead of the DFAU copycat Bye Bye. but For the Record is, imho, the best track of this album. with hot remixes and hot video, this is a sure #1.

Exactly. If they waited a little longer for TMB to die and then release ''I Stay In Love'' as a second single it would have been a hit. I'm sure. And then for 3d single they can release one of these: ITC,Migrate,Side Effects or I'll Be Loving You Long Time. The problem with this album is that all the songs (maybe except for Last Kiss and I Wish You Well) can be singles.

I'm surprised that you don't like IBLYLT. It's one of my favorites on the album.

 

 

By the way Mariah and her crew just arrived in Hawaii. I'm surprised they got straight there after the Japan promotion.

It doesn't metter. USA is the biggest market. Since you break records in the biggest market worldwide after 18 year long carear I don't think we can call it dead in general. + She is doing good in Asia as well.
