Mariah is at the DEAD END of her career. Hip-hop is the only thing she can do now. How long can she keep pulling the same old cr@p? When she turns 45, do you think the hip-hop genre will still accommodate her? I think not.

 

Compare that to Celine who has her sights on jazz, quasi-classical, Queen tribute, writing her own songs, being in movies etc. TCH will most likely get outsold by That Mariah Chicken Curry but a decade from now, it's Celine who will still be standing tall.

 

To be honest, Celine's style has changed a lot as well.... I mean "taking Chances" is so commercial.

Agree. I also liked the way she was dressed and I can't understand how she can transformed her body so fast for 2 days again. If we compare it to the pics with the purple top or the pics with the pitch.

About the singing... I didn't expected anything brilliant knowing her voice condition but I liked how she changed the song and I'm glad at least she tried singing live cause it's very rare for her to sing live at a TV show ouside of America.

 

By The Way she'll perform after a few hours at MTV JAPAN AWARDS.

I'm wondering what she'll perform. Hope it's not TMB. I think the best choice would be ''I'll Be Loving You Long Time'' since it's raising ot Japan Hot 100 without video and without even being a single.

OMGGGGGGG I JUST WATCHED THE PERFORMANCE. 100 % LIVE (unless it's a pre-recorded version, but I don't think so). And the effects, the stage, everything. She was perfect. Best performance this era.
